Well, my truck broke down and I called Best Western for a 3 night stay. They
were friendly and professional on the phone. So I checked in and the room is
very nice and very clean. Parking maybe a wee bit tight for your rig. Depends.
In the morning they have an impressive continental breakfast. for dinner
the ABC restaurant is amazing. you will certainly enjoy. You really will. It's
the best place if you are in the Abbotsford area. Well done Best Western.

We used the conference room for a business meeting. The room was very clean and
contained all the items we needed for our meeting. In addition the staff
received faxes for us and were very helpful.

We stayed there one night. Got there later at night and had a room on the main
floor near the breakfast area. The breakfast area is where some people tended to
congregate and chat into the evening and was packed for breakfast starting at 7.
From our room, we could hear everything from the breakfast area even though we
were down the hallway a bit from it. I am a good sleeper, but it really was too
noisy for me to sleep at all past 6:45 as people started to fill the breakfast
area.

Our Women's Group (50 of us) spent a wonderful weekend at the hotel. The service
was outstanding. All the staff made us feel welcome; we liked the ambiance so
much that we're going to come back to the same place for our women's retreat
next year. The hotel is newly renovated, rooms are lovely and beds super
comfortable. We made use of the pools and the exercise room too. Great!

In May 2010 our volleyball team traveled from Ontario to B.C. for our Nationals.
I had never been to B.C. and didn't know what to expect. I started emailing
hotels and checking reviews. I had some specific things in mind that would help
make our team's experience more comfortable. I found a great group
representative named Kim. I asked several questions and she was very helpful and
patient and has a sense of humour as well.
We needed to be near the venue. The Tradex centre/Airport was a 10 minute drive
away which was perfect. We needed a clean hotel and that's what we found. We
wanted a breakfast included and it surpassed our expectations. It wasn't just
cereal and muffins.
There was a lovely breakfast room and the parents were also able to use it at
night so we didn't disturb our athletes while we played cards. There was also a
courtyard to eat outside. We even had a team BBQ. The rooms had a fridge and
microwave and some of us had a full kitchenette.
The staff was helpful and courteous. The cost was comparable to other hotels.
We would definitely go back to the Best Western Regency, in fact we are going
back next year.

I'm just about to head down for my 5th stay in 11/2 months at this great
property in Abbotsford. We've been staying at this hotel during my kids various
sports events and have had nothing but fantastic service. The front desk is
super organized & friendly. The rooms are spacious with comfy beds with plenty
of room to move around and our room was quiet. We were having to conduct some
business while staying here and the front desk happily scanned/faxed and
returned documents for us with a smile. The breakfast was great with scrambled
eggs, sausage & pancakes plus all the usual pastries, cereal, juices etc. We
didn't use the pool but I stuck my head in to look at it and it seemed to be a
good facility. The person who handles all of our team bookings was called Mebs
and went above and beyond what was expected even phoning to find out what time
the team was coming for breakfast to make sure they had plenty of staff
replenishing the food and then leaving playing cards & chocolate pretzels for
the kids. He handled the bookings of our team rooms professionally and made my
job as Team Manager a breeze. We will definitely be back next year during our
travels to the Abbotsford for volleyball!!

We had a Hockey tournament in Abbotsford with six teams. We had people arrive
from all over the country. The hotel did an excellent job with the rooms and we
used the presidential suit as a meeting point for all of us, which worked out
great. Everything was clean and quite even with some of our own noise makers.
They treated us great at the hotel. We will do it again. |
