Fort Langley National Historic Site is a mix of beautiful reconstructions and
original buildings, plus all kinds of interactive displays and activities.
Throughout the site, Visitor Services staff wearing Parks Canada uniforms or
period costumes are always nearby to assist you.

Fort Langley Location
|
Fort Langley is the exact location where, a century and a
half ago, a huge fur trade organization called the Hudson's Bay Company
established a small post to trade with the First Nations of the West Coast.

Fort Langley Visitor Facilities
|
The Visitor Orientation Centre – the site entrance and exit – offers a beautiful
view of the Fraser River, reception and information services, a gift shop,
exhibits, and washrooms.
Picnic facilities, including both a covered picnic shelter and open picnic
areas, are located in the shady, grassy park area around the parking lot.

We are open 7 days a week, year round!*
Regular Hours: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm (September 4 – June 29)
Summer Hours: 9:00 am – 8:00 pm (June 30 – September 3)

Free parking is located in the large parking lot at the end of Mavis Avenue.

Directions to Fort Langley
|
From Vancouver
take the Trans Canada highway east for 40 km, or 105 km west
from Hope. Follow the 232nd Street exit north off Highway #1. Fort Langley
National Historic Site is just 6 km north of the highway.
Follow the "beaver" signs along 232nd Street until you reach the stop sign at
Glover Road. Turn right, and continue into the village of Fort Langley. Turn
right on Mavis Avenue at the flashing lights, just before the railway tracks.
Our parking lot is located at the end of the street.
From Richmond and the Vancouver International Airport
Follow Highway 99 South to Highway 10. Follow Highway 10 east to Glover Road
(about 30 minutes). Turn left on Glover and continue to the village of Fort
Langley. Turn right on Mavis Avenue at the flashing lights, just before the
railway tracks. Our parking lot is located at the end of the street. |
