Canucks and now the Coliseum continues
to be a fan favorite with our local
Vancouver Giants of the

As home of an annual fair that attracts up to 60,000 people a dayAs the largest building within the Hastings Park complex, the Pacific Coliseum
serves as a venue for diverse events such as ice shows, boxing, basketball,
hockey, concerts, large assemblies, and trade and consumer shows.

In 2010 the Pacific Coliseum at Hastings Park was one of the City's major
event sites for the Winter Olympics, only 15 minutes from the Vancouver Olympic

Vancouver Giants are a member of the 22-team Western Hockey League.In their
short history, the Giants have already captured a WHL Championship in 2006, and
a Memorial Cup (National) Championship in 2007
The WHL showcases many of the best junior-aged hockey players in the world, and
is a leading supplier of talent to the National Hockey League (NHL).

Getting to the Vancouver Pacific Coliseum

| If you are heading to Playland at the
Pacific National Exhibition, the Pacific Coliseum, or
Hastings Race Track you could
get off at Renfrew Street
Skytrain Station and take the 16 Arbutus Bus to Renfrew Street and
Hastings. |
