Hotel Description:
- Edgewater is a stunning 12 room
lakeside retreat in Whistler, B.C. on 45 acres of beautiful, private,
forested land 2 Miles North of Whistler Village bordering on the
River of Golden Dreams and Nicklaus North Golf Course. The lodge is a
unique destination, not just in Whistler, but anywhere...Close, yet
somehow very far from some very convenient distractions. Canoes and
Kayaks can be rented at the lodge as can a whole slew of
outdoor activities such as river rafting, biking, etc. are all very
handy to the lodge. In winter, we have horse drawn sleigh rides from
the lodge. For views, all rooms look across the lake to Armchair
Glacier, Wedge Mountain, Blackcomb Mountain, and Whistler Mountain.
There simply isn't a better view in Whistler.
- All of our
rooms are large, ensuite bathrooms, bed sitting rooms, have
wonderful views, and breakfast is included. The lodge achieved a 3
diamond rating from American Automobile Association and the Canadian
Automobile Association. At lakeside, we have a beautiful outdoor hot
tub. In summer we have canoe and kayaking activities at the Lodge,
and in winter, the lake freezes over and is wonderful for ice skating
or cross country skiing and we are very fortunate to be linked to the
Whistler Cross Country Trail System.
