While this hotel is nothing grand it has many plus points - the room was clean
and had everything we needed in it (including free wireless internet on your own
laptop); it was a very short distance to the waterfront, Granville Island, and
near to the main shopping streets. My wife and I walked along the waterfront to
Stanley Park (a long walk but worth it). While we only ate in the hotel on one
evening, the bar snack food was fine and the staff very friendly. There are
plenty of good restaurants within walking distance although, like all big
cities, you can easily find yourself in slightly seedy areas only a short
distance away (perhaps that is a plus point to some!).
Our three nights at this hotel were a positive experience and this is a good
place to choose as a mid-range hotel.

I arrived with my wife in late August 2007 on a Travelsphere holiday. My wife
was taken seriously ill- the holiday abandoned and I remained at the Quality
hotel for 29 days. The staff - room cleaner - barperson - manager - everyone
were absolutely brilliant. THEY CARED. After 12 days I was moved into a suite -
wife still critically ill - hotel could not have been better. Rooms clean, well
serviced, efficient staff. Hotel food is excellent - tasty - brilliant salad,
excellent fish and ships ! and chef's salads.
front desk brilliant, esp. Al and Leanne, but unfair to name but 2.
Some of the back room suffer from early morning 7am) noise, but that linked to a
city workers strike (9/07).
rooms - spotless ; linen similar; desk - amazing; lounge - great with its own
'Cheers' type group of locals. who care.
Would we come back ?- depends upon my wife's frame of mind. Would we stop here -
absolutely.
SO LONG AS YOU ARE NORMAL, UNSPOILED AND DO NOT EXPECT SOMETHING MORE THAN YOU
PAID FOR. - BRILLIANT
VALUE FOR MONEY - FOR MY MONEY -UNACCOUNTABLE.

This hotel is located about a 15 minute walk from Robson Street, so its a good
location. The price was not bad for downtown Vancouver either, though breakfast
was not included and was a little pricey for what you got, I would suggest have
breakfast downtown it would be cheaper and you would get more for your money.
The rooms were nice, clean and comfy bed. Would recommend it.

This is a good hotel for a reasonable price. Nothing fancy but the room was
clean (abeit a bit small for a family of 4 and a dog) and nicely appointed. We
were on the alley side which was quite quiet. The free internet was very very
slow. The best part was that our dog was able to stay in his crate in the room
while we attended a wedding (some hotels won't let you leave your dog in the
room unattended no matter what!) We didn't have time to try out the pool but it
looked fun although quite small. This is a great place to stay if you are not
planning on spending a lot of time in the hotel.
