TRAVELER REVIEWS:

I was actually here for 2 nights in late July and 1 night towards Mid August as part of a Cosmos tour group.

My first room was on the 10th floor. It was almost like a H Shape in design, Weird i thought..... It was sufficent, bed was clean, A little worn in the bathroom but tolerable. The swimming Pool was disgusting! As someone previously said it was gritty and looked like it hadn't been cleaned since it was installed! Must be the first time in history i was glad to get out of a pool!

My 2nd room was on the 7th floor and was disgusting, very worn and run down looking, Toliet Seat broken, I grit my teeth and decided since i was only there for a night i'd grin and bear it. I kept checking the bed and didnt find any bedbugs so thats a good thing at least.

I will say though all the staff i had dealings with were quite pleasant! Shame the rooms weren't the same.

The last night i stayed there i was kept awake by a Contiki Group running rampant up and down the halls (Not the hotels fault i realise) but the next morning in a hurry to get to the airport i got to the elevators to have a group of jamaican women also with suitcases tell me they'd been waiting 20 mins! I ended up cracking it and carting my suitcase down 7 flights of stairs! The elevators were very slow, i think the average wait was 10 mins!

Centrally located but i think next time i'll look elsewhere!

This hotel was part of our tour package and I must say was below average for the level of hotels this tour company usually uses. When I arrived at the hotel there was newspapers and garbage right in front of the door and no one cared to clean it up for at least 2 days. It made a terrible impression when getting out of the cab.
The room though large enough and clean enough was rather drab.

We had breakfast in their restaurant Moxie's included in our stay and it was good.
The location was good for walking to Gastown and the museum but you are at the end of Robson street and there was nothing but fast food restaurants on the street. Not at all close to the shopping area. Even the location was drab.
I don't know what the price of this hotel is since it was included in our tour but I would look for a better hotel than this one.

This place has got to be the worst i have ever stayed in.
The rooms were tatty, unclean, bathroom filthy and the staff were as much use as chocolate ash trays on motor bikes.
Nothin going for it.
NEVER AGAIN

Room was ok (Standard Room), but old beds and old bathroom. Also the Air con didn't work very well, so room was too warm (but it was unusually warm weather).

Swimming Pool was terrible - very old and scruffy.

Breakfast place was very good and very good value, also good for Lunch and Dinner.

My family stayed with a group on our tour here for 2 days. It is a hotel with very many rooms but only 2 elevators. We waited for 15 minutes by the elevators when we arrived and on other occasions they were always packed with people also. The 3 persons room was not for 3 persons, but only for 2. There were only 2 towels and when we asked for more, we had to look for those towels ourselves in the TVcabinet. Although we asked for a breakfast at a normal time when we had a day of rest, we had to breakfast with the group at 7.00 AM. There were no spoons or knives enough. We will not recommend this hotel.
