Review of the Executive Inn Burnaby

My business travels are usually unknown to the last moment, so my hotel
stays have never been one designated hotel. I walked into the Executive
hotel, one evening a few months ago, and was greeted by smile and
offered a discounted rate. Each time I returned I seemed to be
recognized as Anna would have my registration card ready for signature
by the time I completed the long walk down the poorly lite back
staircase.
It is nice to be recognized each time I returned. The rooms are clean,
rate is great and the service is above and beyond by all.

Stayed here two nights on business, centrally located to entire Metro
Vancouver area, and across the street from the skytrain. Lots of chain
restaurants in the area, and a few ok foodie joints. room was clean,
quiet, and very well appointed. couch, chair, desk, safe, i-board, full
size fridge , micro, and a few dishes. Not enough plugins around the
desk, but very comfortable desk chair, and well equipped bathroom and
jet tub. The night security guard looked like an ex-convict, in a
disguise, the security of the hotel was average. Park in the front
between the Hotel and Lougheed, because the parking in the back is
poorly lit, and an easy mark for the dirtbags to break in or steal your
car. Also use the clock radio / i-pod dock alarm, as I did because the
front desk botched up both of my wakeup calls, so you will need the
backup, plan or risk missing your meeting. Great Price point for
Vancouver, and better amenities that the fu-fu rip-off hotels downtown.

It was my first stay at this hotel from 18th to 22nd of December. The
room was large and well furnished. Housekeeping was excellent with clean
linen. it was a pleasant surprise to find out that this hotel is so
conveniently located. It is an easy drive to most of the areas in
Vancouver. The hotel is located within easy distance from places of
convenience ranging from Starbucks to markets. it is in a very quiet
neighborhood. I was disappointed that I didn't get a chance to try the
restaurant. It seems to be a popular place with the locals for their
buffets. The hotel is a great value for the price. I would highly
recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Vancouver area.

Family front desk service went way above and was prepared with maps and
information of the area. Housekeeping was friendly and very
accommodating. Made our team stay very enjoyable. will return to this
hotel for our next year tournament.
