I chose this hotel as a cheaper alternative while attending a convention
in the area. At first I was a bit put off by the noise of the Skytrain
and the bus loop for the mall but after one day, I had tuned it out and
it didn't bother me at all. The room was fantastic. The bed was so comfy
that I just wanted to spend all day in it. Having a fridge and microwave
available was a real plus. Also, the breakfast buffet was great! They
had everything and the fact that it was complimentary added real value
to the hotel. I'd love to come back anytime!

Hotel was ok, had a "skylight room" which was a dungeon with a window 14
feet up the wall. Other than that, room was very clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was very average for an Express, there is certainly better and
got boring very quickly. Bed was very comfortable and staff friendly.
Good location to Metrotown Mall and skytrain. Pool was very cold,
couldn't use it unless you like 70 degree water.

I have stayed at this hotel several times on trips to Vancouver from the
UK. As a platinum PC member I am always recognized as such when I arrive
by smiling and helpful staff. Upgraded room always follows and rooms are
large, clean and comfortable.
I look forward to staying here again on my next trip.

We needed a place to stay in Burnaby for 1 night and picked this hotel.
We are glad we did. Nice room, parking and a hot buffet breakfast
included at a reasonable price. Friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel was very comfortable and felt nice and modern. Before I booked
the room, I'd read other reviews where people said the building was
remodeled, but still felt like it was from the 70's on the inside. I
didn't really get this feeling at all and neither did the girlfriend.
We booked a room with a queen size bed. The room felt a little bit
small, but since we only used the room to sleep and were otherwise gone
all day, it didn't really matter. The bed was really comfortable, but
what was great was the bathroom. The shower felt great and refreshing
and the bathroom had ample space.
Another great thing was the free breakfast. It had lots of variety
including Yoplait yogurt, English muffins, freshly made eggs and hash
browns, fruit and some other stuff. This was a nice surprise since most
free hotel breakfasts just consist of Rice Krispies cereal and warm milk
that's been sitting out. Granted, the quality wasn't like something
you'd get at a real restaurant, but if you want to eat quickly and be on
your way, plus not spend a fortune on breakfast, it's definitely a plus.
