We stayed at the Executive Hotel for 2 nights last week. I was attending a workshop held there and my husband came along. Our son travelled over from Victoria and spent the day with his dad so it was a business/pleasure trip. We found the stay very pleasant, room service dinners were excellent. I enjoyed the complimentary massage.
I was a bit dismayed over the charge for internet but encountered the same thing at Whistler. I have stayed at much cheaper hotels and it was included at no charge. Charges for parking are rather annoying too. The air conditioning only in the bedroom makes for a stuffy living room and it was rather noisy and rattly and the bed in the bedroom seemed to need replacing soon. (Room 240) Also there was not adequate handicapped parking.
The staff was excellent and tended to us very well. I would stay there again as long as it wasn't too hot (because of the air conditioning only in the bedroom).

We stayed at this hotel during our trip to Vancouver. It is a short drive from Vancouver and the special price for 2 night stay couldn't be beat.
Though the design of the hotel is a little dated, everything we needed was there.
Refrigerator, microwave, lcd tv. Room was clean and furniture was newer, beds were comfortable. Suites were priced as regular rooms and this was very handy for us since we stayed there with a 2.5 year old who enjoyed her own area and a pull out queen bed.
The restaurant downstairs (Tivoli) had great breakfast but when we were there it seemed understaffed and a bit overpriced. Next day we had our breakfast at White Spot down the street. There is also a Save On grocery store across the street.

I am writing this review not only as a guest of the hotel, but as an organizer of a national event in which this hotel was our host hotel for our athletes and guests.
From day one the management made my job easy, they worked with us on rates, bookings, and everything else required. Any time I requested a meeting they made it happen. The week of the event, the hotel was great, they made sure our guests were taken care of. From the hotel rooms, to the food service to shuttling the adults to the casino or mall, they handled it all. So if you need a great place to stay, a great place to hold a meeting or event, call these guys, they will take care of you. Very professional Service indeed, thank you!
