After a one-year hiatus, the 7th Annual CelticFest
Vancouver is back! Western Canada’s largest and best-loved Celtic festival
returns to downtown Vancouver from March 16th to 20th, 2011. For five days,
Celtic roots will again rock the city with an extraordinary range of over 50
free and ticketed events.
CelticFest Vancouver Parade
The 7th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, presented by
Pacific Centre is slated for Sunday, March 20th, on a new parade route
with thousands of colourful and musical participants taking to the streets.
The parade route will start at Howe & Drake and will proceed north along Howe
Street to Georgia Street. The parade will then turn right on Georgia and will
end at Georgia and Granville Streets
CelticFest Village and Street Market in Vancouver
The festival's Celtic Village & Street Market will finally
be returning to its original location on the newly designed Granville Street
(between Georgia & Smithe Street), on Saturday, March 19 & Sunday, March 20,
2011.
