I'm here now, halfway through a weeklong business-related stay. Everything's
very clean and quiet, just as I like. Breakfast, always a big deal for me, is
good - three types of cereal, two types of milk, and a ton of pastries, bread,
as well as juice and coffee. It would be nice if the milk jugs + yogurts were
placed in a tray filled with ice, but I can get over that. The hotel is on the
#19 bus route, taking you either downtown in one direction, or to the Metrotown
mall with a big movie theater, in the other. The Canada line tram from the
airport is about a half-dozen blocks away. There's also a strip mall and a
supermarket next door. The Mt. Pleasant neighborhood gets a mention in LP as the
hipster SoMa area. There's a lot of little coffeehouses, etc., and a string of
stores selling outdoor gear. Sleeping was solid, though my room is next to a
maid's storage area, and I was awoken at 7:30 a.m. today when she unlocked it to
retrieve something. But overall, I'm not hearing noise from adjacent rooms,
upstairs or from the street. Front-desk crew are helpful. No Pets Allowed is a
huge plus for me.

The price and location of this hotel were very good. Free parking was a bonus.
It was in walking distance to restaurants and outdoor shops.e.g.,mec. The room
we booked on line did not have a fridge, so we were given a free upgrade.

close to downtown The front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating and
the room was clean and quiet.
underground parking was very hard to park in even for a small truck like mine
The location was particularly good for visiting our family, travel into the
centre was quick and easy and, if you felt sufficiently energetic, could be
walked as well.

I was in Vancouver last week for a business gathering with and few clients. I
was able to find the hotel very easily and the lady at the desk was very
helpful. When I arrived at the room it was very nice. I would recommend this
hotel to anyone!

Close to MEC & Tai Chi Centre where I was going for a workshop.
Street noise from Kingway - easily fixed with ear plugs!

The hotel was ok for a short visit in Vancouver. Not walking accessible to
downtown tourist areas but easily accessible and inexpensive to use public
transportation (taxi costs around $5 to $6 USD, city bus appx. $2.50 USD). Only
has small room for cold breakfast of assorted rolls, cereal, fruit,
coffee/juice/milk. Overflow guests had to find place to eat in lobby.
Located across street to shopping mall for food supplies, etc.
Noise in room - sounded like AC tapping noise - never could locate where it was
coming from.
