Wonderful starting point for our cruise to Alaska. Terrific room,
friendly and helpful staff, restaurant and lounge enjoyable. Very nice
touch to include champagne and chocolate dipped strawberries to
celebrate of our 45th wedding anniversary. Thank you.

I really liked this hotel. Clean and spacious room, big and luxurious
bathroom, and it's conveniently located, only 10' walking from water
street and with easy access to the airport, station waterfront of the
skytrain only 5' minutes away. The breakfast was good, i had the
European one with ham and cheese and yogurt. Some friends of mine had a
problem with the breakfast, cause the coupon we had was for a room, but
they wanted it for every person. At the end i explained that our tour
guide had organized it with the hotel receptionist, and they Let us go,
but i think they should organize it better.

This hotel continues to provide the best service and friendly atmosphere
of any hotel in Vancouver. Location downtown is close to everything and
the quality of the rooms and food (both room service and Diva
restaurant) is outstanding.

We were very pleased with the location of the Hotel. Central to most of
the CBD and good shopping centres.
Friendly and efficient reception staff, who were eager to help, at all
times.
Room spacious, spotlessly clean and well maintained.
Also, close to all forms of transport.

Unbelievable markup on laundry! Charged over £100 for a poor job on 3
shirts, 2 slacks, 8 pr socks & underpants. Staff just laughed and agreed
it was costly when I complained. I later stayed in a Lodge in Banff
where I could do my own laundry for $1.75!
The hotel had warned about construction nearby, but said this would not
affect us. What they omitted to mention were the early morning
deliveries to the construction site which were very noisy.
Our room was overlooked by an office block, meaning the blinds had to be
down most of the time. The view was also of a concrete wall. We
requested a different room, but were told only a lower floor on the
front was available, which was likely to be noisy. We stayed on floor
11.
We will not stay here again, such a contrast to all the other places we
stayed.

We stayed here one night pre-cruise and three nights post cruise. Great
central city location. Clean rooms, lovely bed- linen and towels and the
room was cleaned to a high standard. Extremely helpful concierge who
gave us many details for visiting Stanley Park and other places. We
requested a kettle for our room - coffee machine was there but we drink
tea - and this was delivered within five minutes. Would definitely
recommend. |
