Stayed here from June 5th 2011 to June 7th 2011. Was pleasantly
surprised with the hotel. Comfortable spacious rooms, clean and
comfortable beds. When we checked in the staff were kind enough to give
us a balcony which looked directly at Grouse mountain and the lights on
the mountain at night! While we were there the Canucks were playing in
the NHL finals series and people were everywhere when the game was on!
The city did an amazing job to block off streets and allow people to
watch the game outside.
Overall an excellent hotel especially for the price, would definitely
stay there again! Location on Robson street is excellent with a 10-15
minute stroll to the main areas and heaps of food nearby in Yaletown.

The Rosedale on Robson hotel was very average. We stayed for two nights
and were located on the 8th floor which was old fashioned and in need of
a revamp. The TVs were old and showed a fuzzy picture, the Nintendo
console was old and not free, the wifi was not free and their business
centre consisted of one computer in the lobby. Who charges for wifi
these days?!!

We have stayed here three times now. This hotel is not the peak in
luxury or modern facilities but its clean, comfortable and has a good
location for exploring Vancouver. Its the kind of place that makes a
good base for exploration in that you dont want to spend all your time
in the hotel but its comfy and welcoming enough when you get back after
a long day.
We arrived for our third visit for one night (before we went home) and
were upgraded to one of their larger deluxe rooms on the 20th floor
which was a nice surprise. We had a sitting room with a large LCD TV and
a nice bedroom with another large LCD TV. Even nicer was the terrace
with a superb view over Vancouver. Internet access wasnt free but cost
$5 for 24 hours, that was acceptable. Call the front desk and they will
sort it out.
The bed was very comfy and we felt it a shame we were there for just the
one night. Still it ended the holiday on a good note. We would stay
there again.
So yes the Robson is a great hotel for those that dont want to hang
around too much in a hotel laden with opulent luxury that you have to
pay through the nose for but want a good base for exploring Vancouver
from. You'll know that you have a comfy room and bed waiting for you
when you get back.

Had a great stay here for a couple of nights in May. The hotel is good
for both downtown and yaletown areas. It's also a short walk to Davie
street or to catch an aquabus to Granville island.
The suites were clean, a good size, and we had a good nights sleep as
well.
The rooms do look a little dated, especially the kitchen area - but it's
not much of a problem and the hotel was good value so no big deal.
I would stay here again for the location, but have stayed in a better
Vancouver hotel for the same money.
NOTE: No reflection on the hotel, but we did get given a counterfeit
note in the restaurant on our first day (didn't notice until later) - a
good reminder for tourists to always check your change (our $10 note was
missing the sliver strip down the side)

Wow this hotel needs some updating. Decent location with free parking.
Had two double suite with pull out couch in separate room. Tvs are tiny
and from the 1980s. Beds not very comfortable. |
