Great location and beautiful rooms with a view. Every room is a corner room, so
each one has huge windows with wonderful 270 degree views, and a balcony. Right
in the heart of the shopping district, with tons to do within walking distance.
Just restored and rooms are HUGE and pretty. Parking is easy. Only problem was
the staff. All but one of them seemed to have next to no knowledge of the city,
or at least if they did, they certainly didn't want to share it with us. I often
look to hotel staff for recommendations, but they had none. Thought Canadians
were nicer than this...

Blue Horizon is a typical city hotel, it offers a great central location and if
you want to take the Trolly tour it stops right outside. The breakfast was good
and reasonable and sidewalk cafe is a nice place for a coffee. The rooms were
clean and spacious, so a good place to choose for time in the city. There is
parking onsite but you have to pay around $20 per day, so make sure you keep
this in mind.

We stayed here several nights after a cruise to Alaska. The rooms are very
spacious with windows on two sides, and a shallow balcony. Rooms on the higher
floors must have spectacular views. The staff was exceptionally friendly and
helpful; the bed was wonderful; the room was very quiet, despite the central
location in a bustling neighborhood; rooms facing the street, in the front,
might be more subject to street noise; our room faced northwest. I wouldn't
hesitate to stay here again.
Service at the put next door, Flannigans (?), was extremely slow; service in the
lobby restaurant was excellent.
Room Tip: Go for a higher floor, facing north.

I was excited by the possibility of knowing I would have a balcony, and the Blue
Horizon did not disappoint.
The best thing about this hotel is the location and how you can walk to almost
everything Vancouver has to offer.
The front desk staff seems very harried and consistently overworked, although
they were all certainly polite.
This is not a new hotel, so don't expect luxuries, because they're not here.
However, everything works, it is kept very clean, and the views are great.
Stay here if you are a tourist - it's a great location and so much cheaper than
anywhere nearby.

This hotel was a very comfortable place to stay with a fantastic view of the
city lights. It is close to shopping and restaurants. You can walk to the Sky
Train station to visit other areas of the city. City bus stops right at front
door if you prefer to travel by bus. The Inlets restaurant located in hotel had
very good food at a reasonable price. The room furnished soft comfy robes to
wear and a large flat screen t.v. I look forward to returning to this hotel on
my next visit.

I was with a group and the hotel is a sky scaper. I was on the 24th floor. Huge
big room with a double bed just for me. Tea and coffee facilities. Large balcony
and can see a lot of Vancouver from there. Restaurant is reasonable when it is
open. Lot`s of other restaurants and cafes near by. Shopping right outside the
hotel and many shops just a short distance away. A great
hotel in Vancouver

This was our night of luxury on a budget holiday and didn't disappoint. Got
rooms on the 22nd floor with excellent views of the mountains, downtown and
ships. Underground car park on site which was available to us until 3pm allowing
us to leave car after check out to explore downtown. Very good sized rooms,
quality finishes (nice curtains for those of you who like that sort of thing).
With the poor exchange rate we paid c£100 for the night which seemed pricey,
however when compared to others of similar rating it's about average. One of
only two hotels that didn't provide complimentary continental breakfast (the two
most expensive!). The only small downside was that the lady on reception wasn't
dressed smartly, didn't match the quality/price of the hotel.
