We stayed for one night and were thoroughly impressed with the hotel! We booked through hotwire so got a good rate. When we checked in, the front desk clerk was very welcoming and friendly, he told me we had a queen non-smoking room. I was a little disappointed it wasn't a king bed, but did not say anything. As he was typing away on the computer, he said "we are upgrading you to a king, non-smoking"...I was impressed! when we got to our room, 509, we were very impressed with how spacious and inviting it was, lovely decor, a suite style room with a big desk, chair, huge t.v. (we never used that or high speed internet which was available) and there was a second t.v. in the bedroom. The bathroom was spotless as well. We went to a show so we really didn't spend that much time in the room, however, the bed was very comfy and we had a great sleep! We will definitely go back there again. The staff were all excellent, friendly, & helpful. We had some drinks after the show in Spencer's Lounge and the bartender/server was attentive and offered excellent service. They definitely know what customer service is all about at the Delta Vancouver Suites!

“A great hotel for families”
With two small kinds, this was a really nice find - located centrally enough, friendly staff and a nice spacious room (bedroom and living room - hence "suite"). For the kids, the hotel made sure we had a fold-out sofa-bed for them too. All in all, a very pleasant hotel.

I stayed here during a business trip.
I found this hotel to overpriced for what you get. The rooms were much smaller that I expected. I'll probably to try to stay somewhere else for my next trip to Vancouver.

I had one of my best customer service experiences at Delta Vancouver Suites Hotel. From the moment we entered and received freshly baked cookies to the moment we checked out and experience a quick check-out, everyone was courteous and helpful. Thanks so much for a great birthday/holiday in Vancouver.

“Exceeded expectations. Would return without a thought.”

This hotel obviously prides itself on service and makes every attempt to ensure that their guests depart with a smile and pleasant memories of their stay. Parking in the parking garage right next door is a little tricky and would be excessively expensive if the hotel valet service is NOT used - as we found out to our dismay on checking out. This is not a slight to the hotel, just a warning to potential future guests bringing a car.

Area recommendations
Granville Island is a great place to visit the artisans shops and the fresh produce markets and to watch the boats and yachts passing by...A Traveler
