Guest Review of the Holiday Inn Vancouver Downtown

We thought the Holiday Inn was a decent affordable option for downtown.
Our room was clean and fairly large. The decor in our room was neutral
and there was a door wall that faced the street but no balcony. The
bathroom was bright and clean but pretty small. The only annoying issues
with the room were the loud fan in the bathroom and the older (and
smaller) tv that was situated at an odd angle relative to the bed.

The exercise room at the hotel wasn't the greatest but there was a note
that they have improvements in store for the area. There was also a
small pool that looked enticing for kids. A relatively plain looking bar
and restaurant were situated off the lobby but we didn't check out
either during our stay. I believe parking was $18 per day but we opted
to use street parking, given the short duration our car would be parked
(street parking is 2 hours max with paying hours 9am-10pm seven days a
week). The hotel is conveniently situated - only a five minute walk to
Yaletown for dining and drinking options.
Overall we were happy with our stay at the Holiday Inn and would
recommend the hotel to others, especially if you aren't looking for a
luxurious or trendy option.

Was a good location for a quick trip to Vancouver. fairly fast (and
green) trip from the airport. Rooms were clean. Didn't use the
bar-restaurant downstairs. room service was ok. The pool wasn't bad, but
awkwardly located, no restrooms near by for little ones. close to
trolley stops.

This hotel is in a great location easy walking distance to shops and
places to eat etc. The rooms themselves are just ok... kind of dated but
reasonably clean. The staff was beyond good. Helpful, nice and super
friendly. We were travelling with small kids so the breakfast buffet and
pool were great. All in all, I would definitely book there again. It is
an economical choice for downtown Vancouver.

Holiday Inn Downtown as a good choice for our family of 5. We had a 2
room suite w/kitchenette & 2 baths which worked well. Rooms clean, staff
friendly & helpful, pool small but fun. Overflow parking in rear a
little difficult but front desk always sent someone to unlock gate very
quickly each time we called. Kids eat free in restaurant! Great location
& surrounded by lots of of restaurants, shopping. Will stay again!
