Hotel Reviews of the Hyatt Regency Hotel Vancouver

I stayed at this hotel during a week-long convention. I liked it a lot
because it seemed like I could get away from the chaos that seemed to be
occurring at the other convention hotels where events were going on, yet
was accessible to everywhere I needed to go. Ask for a room
facing the direction of the harbor. I would definitely recommend this
hotel and stay here again if I traveled to Vancouver.
Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the direction of the harbor

Enjoyed our two nights at the Hyatt. We have two children and hotel said
no problem, we even received upgrade and rollaway after 13 hours of
flying. Room service was prompt and all staff were excellent. Only
'downsides' were things easily planned for.... typical downtown parking
fees = pricey and business center charges for Internet usage and
printing. Will definitely return!!!!

Ron at night checked me in since Alaska Air caused my arrival to be
delayed to the next morning. The morning staff were understanding of my
situation too. It's a great location for "you name it". The staff are
friendly with a genuine service attitude.
Loved the Ipod radio in the room and the ear phones in the gym
Look forward to my next trip here.

We only stayed here for one night before our Alaskan cruise the next
day.
We had a corner room on the 11th floor looking out over a park across
the street. We are sorry that we never got a balcony room for a better
view of Vancouver but the view we had was great anyway.
It is a very nice urban hotel with everything you need close by. This is
a nice area of downtown Vancouver. The shopping is great in this area
and the area itself is very nice, scenic, and a safe place to walk
around.

Perfect for first-time Vancouver visitors who plan to go around
downtown.
Pros: Close to everything. Right in front of Fairmont, christ church,
and a 3-minute walk from the art gallery and Cactus Club Beside the
hotel is skytrain Burrard station and if you plan to visit the museum of
anthropology, the bus stop is right across the hotel. Stayed here after
winning a bid from priceline. Considering we got the room at 60%
discount, we were still given high floor room that's a few steps from
the elevator.
Cons: terrible wifi service. For $14, we can't connect with multiple
devices. Ask front-desk about your parking options especially on
weekends.

This hotel is uber-convenient. It's close to everything- the harbour,
Granville Island, Stanley Park. Rooms are smartly decorated, indeed
quite stylishly done, spacious and have good bathrooms. There's a
Starbucks in the ground floor and a Tim Hortons outside the front door
for coffee, bagels and donuts, so we didn't need to get breakfast, which
seemed expensive. All in all, we had a great time at the Hyatt Regency
Vancouver.
