We stayed here after an Alaskan cruise with Princess. Location couldn't
have been better, right above the port terminal. It was probably the
nicest hotel room I'd ever been in, although the Sun Palace in Cancun is
a close second. Every luxury you could imagine. Heated tiles, TV,
jacuzzi bath, huge stall shower and telephone in the bath alone. The
main room was bigger than my living room at home with a huge bed and
very large flat screen TV. We were walking distance to gas town and
(although a long
walk) to Stanley Park. Not cheap by any means, but definitely worth it.

This was an absolutely gorgeous hotel, and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay
there. The hotel was exceptionally clean, and the service was friendly
and prompt. If I visit Vancouver again, this is where I would stay.
My only wish is that the hotel had more dining outlets for breakfast and
lunch - there was really only one (Cafe Pacifica), which can get tiring
if you're there for an extended period of time, which I was. The food
was still top-notch, though.
The pricing was a bit expensive, but it made sense for such a high-end
property. The location is a bit outside of things, being adjacent to the
new convention center, but there was plenty within walking distance as
well.
And don't let its "convention hotel" exterior fool you when it comes to
the spa - the spa was really very nice.
A real gem in Vancouver!

Beautiful, clean, nice views. We were on the Pacific Club Flor, with
it's own check-in, concierge, and breakfast. The location is wonderful -
near downtown, Stanley Park, Gastown. We would highly recommend it!

Stayed here during valentine weekend. We flew to Vancouver on a whim and
lucked out with an excellent hotel that turned out to be very close to
public transport. We got around Vancouver without a car as the hotel
connects to Vancouver's Skytrain. Great restaurants all around, great
location.
Room Tip: Ask for a high floor with view of the bay/inlet.

from the first interaction with the smiling, helpful doorman, to the
last with the maid with the cleaning cart, what a fantastic place to
stay. it was spotless. the rooms were large. good views, and quiet.

there for a night, so didn't use any amenities. classy. |
