This hotel appeared to be in ok condition judging from the lobby however
after entering the room I was greeted by a strange odor. In addition to
the odor the room was barely cleaned. The beds have vinyl covers on
them. Every time you moved, you could hear the vinyl stretching.
They had wireless internet.
The room had a strange odor and was very noisy.

Room at the front street is very noisy at night - not sound proof. Linen
change in the afternoon when we are in for a rest. There is no quest
room at the lobby. One computer for too many quests. No chance to work
on it. This is the hotel of no return. Nothing special from this third
class hotel

I really enjoyed the hotel. I was very surprised to find a refrigerator
and a microwave in the room. The desk staff was very nice and
professional. The hotel may not be located downtown but it was close to
many restaurants and stores with public transportation right outside the
front door of the hotel.
the hotel was clean and orderly
slow lift/elevator

For us and the location, perfect
Basically everything was ok, well we had a room at the backside off the
street. Not a nice few. But we only stay 1 night!!

I am a frequent traveler to Vancouver and just recently discovered the
Broadway area and the Park Inn. If you have been to Vancouver before,
branch out to this area. It is very close to the city core but has a
much more relaxed and friendly atmosphere. There are dozens of
independent and affordable restaurants in this area, including the
famous Banana Leaf. This hotel is small but offers everything that I
need at half the price of a downtown hotel. They don't nickle & dime you
here. Parking is cheap and Wifi is free, The staff are friendly and
helpful. They offered great advice about exploring this neighborhood and
about the easy transportation options nearby.

Pay the small surcharge for the city view rooms. You will get the
postcard image of Vancouver that you can't see when you stay downtown.
The rooms are clean and modern with great bedding. Broadway can be a bit
noisy but all city hotels will have some noise. The website was good but
I had some trouble with it and got an even better price when I called
the toll free number. I have never heard of the Park Inn chain before
but will check them out for other travels.

Once great - lost its good service
There is an Avis car rental next door to the hotel. The front desk not
only did not have the number when asked for it, they suggested we look
in the Yellow Pages in the room. Unbelievably lackluster service by a
young, inexperienced staff who just didn’t care. What a difference from
the last time we were there. We will stay elsewhere next trip to
Vancouver.

Very convenient location, comfortable accommodation, excellent service
The hotel is very conveniently located, on a main boulevard, just
outside of the downtown core, but with easy access to the downtown and
to many residential areas as well as to the airport (which is about 30
minutes away). Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance and
Granville Island is a five-minute drive. The hotel itself is modern and
well maintained. Street side rooms have a beautiful view of the city.
The rooms themselves are nicely appointed and are comfortable although
somewhat small. The bathroom was very small, without enough room for two
people to stand in at the same time. The indoor parking area was open to
the public but well lighted, clean and well maintained, with parking
spaces easily large enough for vans and SUVs. Staff was very pleasant,
efficient and helpful. One minor disappointment was that the high-speed
Wi-Fi Internet connection signal was "low" or "very low" throughout our
stay, with the result that, although the connection worked most of the
time, it was very slow. The desk staff"s attempt to rectify this problem
with a portable modem was, unfortunately, not successful

The hotel is one block from the hospital and that’s why most of its
guests are patients or their relatives. The rooms are simple but
fulfilled our needs. The restaurant has a restricted service schedule
and it’s expensive for the food they offer. The neighborhood isn’t very
attractive but has everything you may need. If you don’t need to stay in
this area, pick a better hotel downtown. Overall we were satisfied,
mainly due to the good value. I found the best deal through

This is a nice hotel with clean rooms and very helpful staff.
Although not in the centre of Vancouver it was very easy to get around
the city using their excellent public transport system. Ask reception
about the 'Day Pass' tickets.
Good in house restaurant for breakfast.

We booked this hotel through this site, and got a terrific value. This
is not a fancy hotel, but rooms were very clean and spacious. Location
is great--just south of the downtown, not quite so hectic, with a 24
hour drug store across the street and wonderful restaurants in the same
block. My partner was sick while we were there, and the staff was very
helpful. Rooms have a microwave and fridge. They even tuck a few bottles
of water in the fridge every day for free. We slept like babies, even
with a street side room, When we go back to Vancouver, we'll stay here
again.
Make sure you ask for a room with a view of the city!
