Our stay was wonderful, accommodating the amount of members in our group was so
appreciated.
Service was great and staff extremely helpful.
the only item that we would have liked was to have group closer, Difficult
having members in the tower part of the facility. During our stay, it was dark
for your youth to cross over the alley way to their rooms. As a director I was
not able to check on the members staying in that area as I needed an access key
to get in, This was the only concern from the members, being new to the area,
crossing the alley way at night, especially our elders.
other than that, we loved our stay!

This was a great place to stay - good central location within walking distance
for everything. The service was superb; I read other reviews where staff was
apparently rude or disinterested; I can say we had the complete opposite
experience. Everyone from the front desk to the restaurant was very friendly and
helpful. The restaurant has good food and is very reasonably priced. Room was
clean, and comfortable.
IF you are a light sleeper get a room with a courtyard view - not street view.
Granville is the party street of Vancouver and people were out being loud and
partying well into the wee hours of the morning. We were on the 12th floor and
could hear the street noise; but - not being a light sleeper did not have
issues.
I read some reviews criticizing parking - parking was just fine - secure, no
direct access from the street.
All-in-all a pleasant hotel.

My wife and I recently stayed for four nights at the Chateau Granville. It was
our second time staying at the hotel. This stay was the same as our previous
stay... well worth it! The hotel is located on
Granville Street which has
recently been transformed into a great shopping, dining and entertainment area.
So in a matter of steps from the lobby of the hotel, you will find yourself in
the heart of the
Downtown Vancouver. Our room was very large, comfortable and clean. The
hotel were friendly and helpful. The only thing to consider for light sleepers
is that because it is located on Granville Street, it can be a bit noisy into
the night along the north facing rooms. This wasn't an issue for my wife and I
but for some it may be.

This hotel had a lovely 1 Bedroom suite for my wife and I to share with another
couple. We were there on the evening of Halloween, so Granville St was bustling
with activity which we could see and hear from our street view room, but we were
there for a wedding party so the noise didn't bother us one bit. We found it odd
that we needed to sign a waiver and leave a deposit to have access to our
balcony. but once outside it was easy to recognize the liability of having
people potentially throw items down to the crowded street below. The only
complaint I would make was that there were 4 adults staying in a 1BR room but we
were only provided with 2 sets of bath towels. We could have easily remedied
this by notifying Front Desk but couldn't be bothered after a long night out.

We stayed at the Best Western Chateau Granville in a large party of adults and
teenagers, for the purpose of showing our out-of-province visitors the sights of
Vancouver. The hotel accommodated our every wish, and the convenient location
enabled us to access venues like the
Vancouver
Aquarium, Science World,
Chinatown, and
Gastown with ease. The rooms were spotless, and underground
gated parking was a bonus. This is a great hotel with unbeatable value for
money!

was clean, roomy and very comfortable and right in the core of the city plus the
price the great
