can't really fault this hotel except for the paper plates and
terrible hot food at breakfast, but that's a quibble really.
probably better for the business traveler staying for a weeks
rather than days, as there is a nod towards some basic
self-catering equipment in each room, and a self service
laundry, but enjoyed my stay none the less.
very spacious gym, small hot tub / Jacuzzi too with some nice
views over the city.

Chose this hotel because of proximity to Rogers Arena (Eric
Clapton concert) and reviews on Trip Advisor. Stayed in a room
with a king size bed. Very roomy, including the bathroom.
Bathroom had a night light and makeup mirror which was nice.
Room included a mini fridge and microwave that many would find
handy. WIFI worked great. Huge window which actually opened.
Very spacious breakfast area with a good selection of items. I
think it would be better to have parking included, as $25 extra.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Suites as it was close to
Rogers Arena as we had tckets to a game. It was great. Very easy
to get around, friendly staff, a nice serve yourself breakfast.
The room was comfortable. We had a king suite. We found it very
quiet but we were on the 7th floor. The whirlpool and sauna were
fun, plus tried the ping pong with my 13 year old son.

This is a good midrange hotel for anyone planning to attend a
hockey game, or any event at Rogers Arena or BC Place (when it's
finished). Rooms are average-sized, with excellent beds, lots of
pillows, free wi-fi, and a safe. The included buffet breakfast
is very good. The lobby contains a kiosk for airline check-in,
which is a great convenience.
In good weather, it's an easy walk up to Robson or Granville
Streets for galleries, shopping, etc. This is a comfortable
hotel in a very convenient location.

4 of us shared a room here on 2 separate occasions in May 2010.
The rooms were comfortable, spacious and clean. Great breakfast,
huge variety, even had a waffle maker. Great facilities, with
the top floor having a games room, spa facilities, laundry and
outdoor area with views of Vancouver. We sat up here playing
cards and having a few beers, it was nice to have a place to sit
down and relax outside of our hotel room. On our second stay, we
got a small gift of chocolates for being repeat guests - it was
a nice personal touch. Great location for public transport and
getting around Vancouver without having an expensive price tag.

Stayed at this downtown hotel for 5 days this month. Great
location although at the bottom of Robson Street, but not a far
walk to dining and shopping. Staff were attentive, complimentary
breakfast was great, rooms clean and not dated. Would not
hesitate to recommend this spot for out of towners. The $20
underground parking fee is a bit of a grab though.
