We stayed here for just 1 night after an Alaska cruise tour to rest
before the trip home. Picked it because of reviews and was NOT
disappointed! Room was luxurious , super comfortable bed, great shower,
and every staff member was as pleasant and went out of their way to
please. Robes and slippers in the room and a very helpful concierge in
the lobby. Restaurant was pricey but their are plenty of places to eat
nearby. I thank the L'hermitage for a great ending to a great cruise!

We recently returned to one of our many trips to Vancouver and opted to
try a hotel that wasn't on Robson this time. Looking at a map and the
hotel's website of photos and lists of amenities, we decided to give
L'Hermitage a try.
The hotel is perfectly situated, with an easy walk to everything:
Gastown, Yaletown, Chinatown and shopping on Robson. The staff was
always friendly, including the cleaning staff passing in the hallways.
The room was spotless and well-appointed, too.
It's worth having a drink in the 5th floor lounge with its
gorgeous fireplace and soothing design tones. Also worth
doing is going for an early morning swim in the heated
saltwater pool on the 5th floor. Definitely one of the
highlights from my trip!
Be sure to look out for Hippo, the hotel's canine concierge. Looking
forward to staying there again!

The hotel is so well located in downtown Vancouver that we managed to
walk everywhere. Plenty of restaurants within 10-15mins walk.
The room was excellent. Lovely space, well appointed, bed was really
comfortable and bathroom was very nice. Wi-fi was free and the signal
strong. We had breakfast during our stay in the hotel. Very healthy and
interesting choices!
The pool was small but if it's not busy, offers an enjoyable swim. The
gym looked well kitted out.
All in all, we enjoyed in staying this wonderful hotel and would
definitely be back if visiting again.

Although upgraded the kitchen, laundry, and space of the den & separate
bathroom features helped us recover from the long flight from Australia.
The room was clean and comfortable.
Breakfast was of a very high standard. Appreciated the fruit, muesli,
freshly cooked egg, croissants and whole meal toast and espresso.
The Concierges helped with informed unbiased advice & arrangements on a
foodie restaurant, travel to Seattle (confusing ferry, rail & bus
options) and more.

My husband and I came to the L'Hermitage for our 20th Anniversary. The
reviews were very favorable so we chose this location. We were not
disappointed. The staff is friendly, helpful, solicitous. Rooms were
quiet (even during the Stanley Cup Finals!). The exercise room had all I
needed as a strength/lifting enthusiast but also has endurance
equipment. The location was convenient enough to walk everywhere we
wanted to go in town-no taxis necessary...We will definitely return next
time we visit Vancouver.

My husband and i just returned yesterday from L'Hermitage Hotel in
Vancouver. We chose it from the recommendation here and did expect it to
be very good from the comments and photos. It actually was even better.
The room and bath were spacious and immaculate. The bed was plush and
incredibly comfortable. The service was instantaneous and wonderfully
friendly as well as helpful. I would stay there again and again and will
recommend it highly to friends and family travelling to Vancouver. |
