Stayed her for one night using a Groupon, so we got a decent rate of
$130 which included parking and $25 dining credit. Taxes were extra so
we paid an extra $30 bucks. $160 in total for one night. Now the pros
and cons-
Pros- good location, service oriented staff, food at the restaurant was
great but remember it is a bit fancy so $25 didnt get you much, valet
parking with a nice treat in the vehicle (however cookies were a bit
stale) and pretty clean hotel overall.
Cons- bed was uncomfortable (felt like I was staying at a 2.5* hotel),
smaller rooms, washrooms were kind of outdated, no fridge, no
complimentary bottled water in room, fitness centre was closed (they did
offer steve Nash passes).
ln the end, I would pick another hotel next time staying downtown.

We found a deal for the Listel on Groupon so we got a great rate.
However, we were surprised that although we had prepaid for our room, we
ended up paying almost $150 for taxes and parking when we were checking
out. (This did not include any room service or internet charges). The
location is perfect, it's located on Robson in the midst of a ton of
shopping and restaurants. It's also a 7-10 minute walk to Granville
Street, where you can catch the bus to Granville Island.
The room was average. My main complaint was the air conditioning/heating
unit was VERY loud! It disrupted our sleep all night.
Overall, for the price we paid, it was a really good deal and I would
definitely stay there again.

This was our second stay at the Listel in Vancouver. The first was in
Dec 2010 before leaving for Mexico as our flight left early in the
morning and the location was perfect as we just walked down to
Grandville St. to catch the Canada Line train out to Vancouver
International airport. Our last stay in March 2011 was even better as we
went into town for my birthday, which the staff acknowledged upon our
arrival to check-in and when we went downstairs for our reservation at
the restaurant. Very clean and quiet considering it is downtown
Vancouver. Great staff and service!!! We will definitely stay here
again. Oh, and when the vallet brought our car up, there where two
cookies wrapped in tissue paper with a note to enjoy our travels. Nice
touch!!! Also, the restaurant staff made a great non-alcoholic "mommatini"
for my daughter who is pregnant ~ she loved it!

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Our room was recently renovated
and very nice. The hotel is within walking distance of Stanley Park,
English Bay and tons of excellent shopping and restaurants. For a
downtown Vancouver hotel, the price is more than reasonable. This is the
second time I have stayed at this hotel, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay
there again.

My husband and I stayed in the Listel Hotel in Vancouver and had an
amazing stay. Not only is the location awesome - right downtown on
Robson Street in the heart of great shopping and dining and not a far
walk to Stanley Park - but the staff are friendly, professional and
helpful. We also ate in the restaurant and had a lovely breakfast. I
think the best part of the stay though was all the little extras that
the hotel thought of - fresh warm lemon scones as a free appetizer at
breakfast, cookies in our car wrapped up as a gift, and lots of smiles
from staff as well as beautiful artwork displayed throughout the hotel
Those little extras, though small, were huge to us
