We always try to stay here when we're in Vancouver. Rooms are very nice,
and the service is excellent! They have the best concierge, he can
arrange anything!

Barely a block from the Canada Line which makes travel from the airport
inexpensive and easy, the hotel is within easy walking distance to all
of the downtown sights such as Robson St., Gastown, and Chinatown. The
rooms are nice (although not very large) with very nice bathrooms, and
impeccably clean. Staff are vey courteous and helpful. The concierge
even gave us passes to the Yale Club (a music venue) and drove us there
in the hotel car, which saved us over $40 and gave us a great evening.
Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

I recently visited Vancouver on a business trip. I needed to be located
downtown, close to the Orpheum Theatre, and I needed somewhere which was
going to be comfortable, in a safe area, and a place I could relax when
not out. The Metropolitan is a really excellent hotel located in a great
spot, around 5 minutes walk from the City Centre metro station, which is
on a direct line from the airport.
My room, which I was told was an upgrade (brilliant welcome!), was
pretty large. I have stayed in flats not much bigger than the bathroom.
It is also opposite the Pacific Centre, which was handy for some nice
stores (included Apple and Sears). The hotel is also right round the
corner from the Art Gallery, and maybe 10 minutes walk from the
waterfront. I managed to get a 5 night deal including breakfast for a
price per night which would be impossible to imagine in the UK. Very
nice breakfast, too!
Very much recommended!

This hotel is superbly located and features an excellent restaurant
Diva. The service is friendly and helpful. The rates are also excellent
for a hotel of this caliber in the heart of Vancouver. I highly
recommend it and would return again.

I booked a suite for an overnight stay in Vancouver with my two kids
over spring break. We all had a great stay at the Metropolitan from
start to finish. Valet parking and help to the room. I booked the suite
with the separate master bedroom. Two TV's a must !! No arguing over
movies or gaming :) Huge windows and lots of natural light. Less hassle
for me (mom). Each time we left we were welcomed back by friendly staff
and treats in the room for everyone. By our evening return the beds were
all ready, dimed lights & soft music greeted us upon entering our suite.
The beds are extremely comfortable & I was really tempted to stay
another night but had other plans. Great location, across from Pacific
Centre, we could walk to all kinds of shopping and restaurants. Then
took a short drive to Granville Island to the Toy Market and played some
tennis. Great time!! I will definitely stay there again, and plan relax
in their pool :)
