Guest Review of the Opus Hotel Vancouver Yaletown

We loved our room (we didn't want to leave) but our stay just wasn't long
enough. We had to rush dinner at the hotel restaurant, One Hundred Nights, as we
had tickets to attend Cavalia. Every dish we had was fantastic and our waiter
was great ensuring we received our order swiftly. He also arranged the hotel car
(BMW) and driver for us short notice who was able to drop us off in time for the
show. When it was over we called for the car and were also picked up soon
afterwards. The staff at the hotel were courteous, helpful and friendly to us
all. We didn't have near enough time to enjoy the hotel, amenities & Yaletown as
much as we'd have liked as we only stayed the one night but you can bet we will
be back. The king suite we booked was more than comfortable for the four of us
with the bed and L shaped pull out queen separated by a cool opaque divider. The
room was modern, comfortable and like new with a fantastic bathroom. The king
suite also has lots of windows which was wonderful. We were on the 3rd floor and
we didn't hear a sound from the street or the bar/restaurant below. We even
enjoyed a nightcap late into the evening as the hip lounge is open until 3am.

We enjoyed everything about our stays at the Opus, this was our third time
there. The location is very central to the Yaletown shops and restaurants and
walking along False Creek. We had the breakfast package and found the food to be
excellent. The price for these rooms is not inexpensive, but I feel we receive
the value and special treatment that keeps us coming back.
“The staff treated us as if we were the most special people in the hotel; it was
a great visit.”

I found the Opus to be a fantastic place to stay. As I had never been to
Vancouver before, there were a lot of places we didn't know how to find. The
hotel staff were very pleasant and always gave us good directions. They also
made suggestions of things to see. The offer to take us anyplace we would like
to go was extended often. The rooms were clean and carefully cared for. The view
was exquisite. I would stay there again and again.
Room Tip: When booking a room, ask for the best view.

I stayed at the opus for a couple nights in late march while i was in town on
business. I was greeted by a very friendly reception, a beautiful room and a
very nice and unexpected turn down service, not a single person in the hotel was
less than hospitable and going out of their way to make you feel cozy. great
location.

We were so impressed! From the word Hello. Would you like some champagne?
Everything at this property is top notch. It gives one the feeling of being in a
place where nothing is impossible and everything is simple. We loved it and look
forward to returning. As well the staff were all superb, continually going
beyond the call of duty to make certain we were pleased.

When in Vancouver, my company usually gives me the choice between Four Seasons
and Opus, and if there is room at the Opus I always prefer them, even though the
former is still a great hotel.
Opus - best location, service and very smart room designs, but also it's smaller
so it feels much more personal, which reminds me - please go to Four Seasons, so
that there's room for me at the Opus, next time I go to BC!

My husband and I won a two night stay at the Opus hotel and we loved it. The
location is amazing, really nice modern area and the hotel itself is really
beautiful. Great views of the downtown area with restaurants and shops all
around. The room was beautiful and the bathroom even more-so. Bathroom has a
large floor to ceiling window that looks through the room and out the window....
which we really loved. Classy lobby and professional staff, overall it was a
really great find. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a nice
splurge weekend in Vancouver- you'll feel spoiled!
Make sure you order breakfast in room the next morning, that was great too. |
