Nice location for a pre-cruise stay!
This was the closest hotel we found at a reasonable price for our
pre-cruise night in Vancouver. It not only was a good location, the
staff was friendly and helpful, the room comfortable but small, and
breakfast was included.
Area recommendations
Near Gastown and in downtown

definitely return!
Very pleasant staff, comfy beds, clean room, simple but filling
breakfast offering, good walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go.
Loved the old-time feel. Had no view, but since we just needed a nice
place to lay our heads at the end of the day, this was perfect.

I had a fabulous stay at this hotel! The staff were very friendly and
helpful. The location was great for my meetings and leisure time. The
hotel is walking distance to all you can need in Downtown Vancouver and
anything not in walking distance is very accessible by transit. The
rooms were very comfortable and very clean!

Two of my colleagues and I stayed at the Ramada Limited Downtown
Vancouver while attending a conference held at two other hotels. The
location of this hotel was perfect! It was close to all the great
downtown spots: Gastown, Yaletown, Granville St, Vancouver Convention
Center, the waterfront; close to several great restaurants; close to the
conference site; and at no time did we ever feel unsafe. Vancouver is a
city so of course some dirt, poverty, homelessness, and pollution are to
be expected! The room we were in was great--it seemed newly remodeled
and the bathroom was larger than we expected and there was working WiFi
at all times. The lobby and common areas were always were clean and the
front desk agents acknowledged us every time we passed by. Breakfast is
simple but serves its purpose. Some of our colleagues stayed at the
conference hotels and were very disappointed by the service and
facilities of those hotels while we were extremely pleased with ours.
The only downside were the seagulls waking us early in the morning but
there's nothing the hotel could do about that. This hotel is an
excellent value and I will definitely stay there again if I ever return
to Vancouver.

Pretty basic hotel in slightly seedy area of downtown Vancouver.
Rooms were small, only just adequate. One non-openable window onto an
internal wall where pigeons had their daily meeting around 5am didn't
help the sleep quality. Breakfast included in windowless basement.
Everything just about average and most of staff were nice enough except
for the front desk night-manager who was exceptionally unfriendly.
There are definitely better options

I stayed for a week at the hotel while I was in town for my company
conference. The Ramada limited is centrally located to everything thats
worth seeing in downtown Vancouver. The casino, the convention center,
shopping district, movies, everything. The staff was great. I cant wait
to return, Vancouver is such a beautiful city. Great breakfast too! I
just wish parking wasn't so expensive....

Stayed here two nights the first weekend in March and was pleased with
the experience. It was a great location for our needs , within walking
distance to many great restaurants and bars, as well as the waterfront.
The room was small with slopey floors, but this is to be expected in an
older building. It was clean, although the linens did seem old, and the
bed was actually two separate mattresses put together, it was comfy and
had good pillows. The breakfast was fine and the staff were all very
friendly. It was by far the best value in the area, and we would
definitely stay here again.

Small but cozy rooms. Updated decor is nice. Our room was behind the
elevator & we could feel & hear the vibrations it made with every trip.
Free breakfast is good but I saw a mouse in the breakfast room. Still,
would recommend. Easy to get to from skytrain, under $100 & near the
waterfront.
