We stayed at the hotel on Friday night, Dec31. The hotel was busy, I
guess they were sold out. We went out with our friends who were staying
at the Ramada across the street, and after partying in the night club we
stopped by their hotel for a minute and what a mess that place was!
Drunk people everywhere, people running and partying in hallways. We
came back to our hotel really worried, because by now, all we wanted to
do was SLEEP. And what a nice surprise we got when our own hotel was
nice and quiet, security everywhere! When we told our friends the next
day, they would not believe us! The breakfast in Wings was very nice,
hotel staff gave us a later check out, we definitely will be back!!!

We decided to come to Vancouver and spent our holidays there with some
friends who live in the city. Due to the size of their condo we had to
look for the hotel. They suggested few hotels around them and this one
came as highly recommended. Most of their family and friends stayed here
while visiting, rooms were clean, staff friendly and proximity to our
friends unbelievably close. Rooms were small, but nicely decorated, with
new furniture and TV. All the front desk people were super nice, said hi
and bye all the time, housekeeping staff also friendly. What I found the
most amazing is, that one day I saw front desk lady eating a cookie. She
apologized for having her mouth full and offered me one of her home made
cookies. They were amazing!!!! She ended up giving me few more and a
recipe to make them at home myself with the phone number to call her,
if I have any problems making them. Can you believe this? I found this
experience amazing! We live in the world where people don't even say hi
to you in the elevator anymore and here, this woman gives me her
homemade cookie! This is the personal touch that makes the difference in
the world! Thank you so much for everything, we will be back next
year!!!

We stayed here one night in November on our way home from a vacation.
This is an old hotel that has been renovated. The rooms are small but
nicely decorated and clean. There the good comments stop. When we
checked in the front desk was very busy and chaotic, compounded by the
people hanging around in the lobby who were patrons of a popular pub
also in the hotel. We were assigned a room with key card only to go up
and find out that the room was already occupied - there were suitcases
belonging to others already in the room. So back downstairs to get
assigned a different room - this time unoccupied. When we returned from
a late dinner we had to run the gauntlet though a crowd of patrons from
a popular dance club (also located in the hotel) who were outside on the
sidewalk smoking. The whole night was topped off by being woken up twice
by noisy, drunk girls going down the hallway to a room - obviously
staying in downtown Vancouver to party.
In summary - nice rooms, nicely renovated hotel - way too noisy and
chaotic for my liking. Okay if you in town to party, I guess. For one
night it was okay but would NEVER stay there any longer.

I went there the rooms too smalls, found a mouse trap being night
table, help desk agents are just in simple and clear words "HELP LESS"
