Despite ongoing renovations, the stay was very comfortable. Great value; buffet breakfast was convenient, tasty, and more than filled us up for the day. Within walking distance of all of downtown. Would definitely stay again!

Staying at the Cascadia was a shot in the dark; I'd never heard of it before and booked on-line, trying to keep costs down. So, when we arrived to discover that we were getting a spotlessly clean and welcoming suite for about half the price of a room at many of the surrounding hotels, we were thrilled. Our first impression of the hotel's atmosphere came from Mike, at the front desk. He was awesome! Fun, easygoing, yet perfectly professional, making us feel instantly at home, he was helpful, informative and cheery, even though it wasn't his usual shift. Plus, there were perks :)
My friend and I were very impressed with our experience and will definitely return to Cascadia, again.

We had a very good stay at this hotel. The service was good, the web price which included a fabulous buffet breakfast was a very good value, the rooms were very comfortable and had kitchenettes. The pool and hottub were out of commission due to renovations but an alternative was provided nearby for those that desired. The restaurant adjoined had good food for a reasonable price, though the service was a bit slow. My party of nine stayed in rooms around the eleventh floor, so traffic noise was not an issue. It was a good experience.

I was here between the 16th to the 20th of November to attend a technical conference in town. It takes 20-25 minutes to get from the airport to Cascadia which is about 30 CAD.

The hotel is quite centrally located and was a fun 15-20 minute walk from the Vancouver convention center. There are plenty of eateries around whether you are on a tight budget or not. The high speed internet is at times patchy but is more than sufficient for email.

I had the room on the 11th floor. Although there was some roadwork going on at this time, the sound didn't permeate all the way to the 11th floor! The view wasn't great but I could just step out of the hotel if I actually wanted a great view! It's located close to Granville Island (which you must visit!) and it took me just 8 minutes to get there: 5 minutes to walk to the pier on Hornby St and a 2 minute ferry ride.

I had a room with a fully furnished kitchenette although I didn't make use of it. The complimentary breakfast was delightful (make sure you have their french toast!).

If I am in Vancouver again, I know where I'll be staying!

This hotel isn't the fanciest, but the staff make up for it. GREAT free breakfast buffet. Loved the little kitchenette area - very helpful if you're staying more than a couple of days. Laundry room is downstairs. We did a load, and the dryer didn't work, and the staff offered to dry the clothes, fold them and deliver them the next day. Very helpful. Good location with parking underneath. Fitness center and pool was unfortunately closed at the time.

We stayed at the Cascadia Hotel and Suites as part of a month long trip to Canada. The hotel is absolutely perfectly located and within walking distance to many of the attractions downtown. The staff were friendly and always eager to assist . We had our 1 year old son and it was a pleasure having the kitchenette and mini fridge with freezer. The staff were always offering to help with out little son and the breakfast staff fell over themselves to help us. The room was nice and big and comfy. We hired a car and drove from here to all locations in and around Vancouver and I can highly recommend the hotel for all types of travellers.

Great hotel!
My friend and I stayed at Cascadia 3 nights from Oct. 22-25th, 2010. We were more than pleased with this hotel and we would definitely stay there again. The staff was friendly, courteous and helpful, the room was clean and spacious and the beds were really comfortable. The included breakfast was amazing! There was so much variety...we were looking forward to eat there every morning! They even have a computer and a printer to print your e-tickets for your next flight, which made things so much easier for us. The hotel also has a security feature for the elevator (so only clients with a room key could use them), so we felt very safe. We also loved the location! The only downside was the noise. Our room was right beside the elevator and we kept hearing the elevator "ding" every time people would come and go from our floor. Also, we could easily hear people talking loudly close to the elevator. I would definitely stay there again, but I’d just make sure to ask for a room far from the elevator.

Will return
Everyone on staff was friendly, most pleasant and helpful. It was obvious that they enjoyed working there. Great location for exploring the downtown area.
