Guest Review of the Comfort Inn Downtown Vancouver

Had a quad room on the 4th floor of this
Downtown Hotel, a
short walk from Vancouver's attractions and the trendy Yale area with
its many restaurant's. Some of our party found the room noisy and the
beds uncomfortable, whilst others found it quiet and comfortable. The
breakfasts in the downstairs
Doolin's
bar were plentiful and delicious. The staff were very helpful and
understanding. We like the position of the hotel in Downtown Vancouver
and will try to return if we can get the opportunity

I like the breakfast located in the
Pub.
The room we were given was right above the pub. We heard the music until
3 am. the staff at the front desk offered us earplugs. Do not get a room
above the pub on a Saturday night!

It was clean and in a good location , you could walk everywhere and
close to bus stops. The car park next door was expensive. It was very
noisy from the bar downstairs. Good breakfasts. Music in bar downstairs
was very loud and went on very late
Centrally located, good rates, clean room

It was very easy to walk to most points of interest, i.e.
Chinatown,
Canada Place,
Robson Street,
BC Place
Stadium, Dr. Sun Yat-Sen
Classical Chinese Garden and
Yaletown.
The only problem was its proximity to a bar where it was quite noisy
around 2:00 a.m.

being helped with our luggage service excellent
Fault with the fan in the toilet. Buzzing all night. Staff refused to
address even to come and listen to the din. Idea was to get sleep and
rest. Felt it difficult to make further complaint for the reluctantly
for the staff to deal with a complaint, or to address the complaint,
because they were already aware of the problem. Would like my money
back, however would consider a complimentary stay with a room of the
same standard and bathroom fan in good maintenance order. Otherwise
cannot recommend this hotel

Our room was well equipped and very comfortable, a little dated but that
did not bother us. The bed was one of the best we have had. The only
slight negative was the rumbling noise of the elevator, I think it needs
a service. The buffet breakfast was excellent.
It was not in the best part of town, but not really a problem.

Great location for nightclubs/bars/nightlife in
Downtown Vancouver.
The hotel was great, but the streets around/outside look a little
dangerous. There is also a lot of noise from the streets from people
still out partying.
