I was surprised to see rates as low as $79 for this hotel. The hotel had
a nice location although a bit lacking in nearby pubs and bars.
We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who put us on the 22nd floor
with views to Stanley Park. The room was decent in size and had a
standing style patio which was nice although could be a bit intrusive if
somebody was on a neighboring balcony. We loved the views from English
Bay to the the south up to North Vancouver to the north.
The bathrooms were basic although having a nice warm shower flow. The
beds pretty firm.
We never made it to the rooftop restaurant. Security was helpful in a
pretty fusing parking garage. All the employees seemed to have positive
attitude though.
The only real drawback was having to pay for wifi. Nobody asked if we
wanted it when we checked in. We assumed it was free. Later that day we
called the front desk and was told we couldn't just bill it to the card.
Instead a security guard had to come to the room and have you sign for
it. This seems like something the staff could inform you of at check in
to avoid the hassle. Or better yet, the hotel should just charge $5 more
a night and give it away free.
Vancouver is an amazing city, and the Empire Landmark is a very nice
hotel for the price paid.

It’s a luxury Hotel, one of the sky scrapers, I had a room AT the top
with a nice view – the Bay. The rooms are big enough and modern. They
llok very elegant, they are great for business trips as well as personal
excursions.
The food in the restaurant was great. The business facilities were also
very well prepared. The staff was friendly and helpful when it came to
explain the city attractions.

Location and the city view
It was our second time in Empire Landmark. Hotel is in the very good
area of Vancouver. Very central location. Deluxe room with 2 double beds
was a very good size. Refrigerator and coffeemaker was a big help. We
had our breakfasts in the room. Having balcony on the 20th floor gave us
a great view of the city. The booth of the "HERTZ" rent -a car located
in the lobby of the hotel. We rented a car and in 5 min been driving to
Whistler. Vancouver is colorful in the fall!!! Rain was not a big thing
for us. I would recommend this hotel to everybody.

Great location. Friendly staff, did charge CDL 15 per night for parking,
decent room. Spectacular view from the rotating roof top restaurant.

One of the good hotels in
Downtown Vancouver
Staying at this hotel was a good experience and the price was also very
reasonable. The best part of the hotel is it’s location. Within a 10
mins walk every major location is reachable.

Super hotel for the price!
For the price, this hotel was more than I expected. Clean, good sized
room with 2 fantastic views of the city, equipped with everything I
needed. The location and neighborhood is better than some of the much
more pricey hotels and public transit is convenient. The jacuzzi was
being renovated so I did not get to see it and since my meals were all
included at the conference I attended, I did not try the restaurant. The
staff is very helpful. I would not hesitate to go back.

Beautiful View in the heart of Vancouver
The Landmark Hotel is an older hotel bet still worth the visit. My wife
and I were here for our 10th anniversary and the Hotel 14 years later is
still good value for the money. The restaurant is still excellent, the
rooms comfortable with a good view. (We were on the 33rd floor) and the
convenience to walk outside the front door and see the city and walk to
everything is a real asset. The fitness centre was adequate but only
open until 9:00. We also noticed parking available for $15 a night but
we availed ourselves of the shuttle bus back to the airport. We ate
breakfast outside the Hotel which is right in the middle of many
different eating establishments. My only complaint is the cost of the
WiFi, but it is cheaper than some other hotels I have stayed in.
Excellent time and Good Experience.

Good location and I believe they upgraded my room to larger unit with
super view without any request from me.

Great Location but............
On the surface the hotel appeared to be inviting. However, my room 710
was cramped and dirty, with a depressing grey and cream decor. The
curtains were worn and filthy . The glass door/window overlooking the
balcony and the balcony itself were also very dirty. Even though it was
non-smoking the room still carried a strong nicotine odour. The bathroom
also had an unpleasant smell even immediately after it was cleaned. The
walls appeared paper thin and so we heard everything that happened in
the room next door. We heard every time their toilet was flushed or they
turned on the shower as well as every conversation that took place in
that room. I loved the location because it is in the heart of Robson
Street, close to the bus, restaurants and great shopping. I would
definitely pay a bit more for the comfort which this hotel lacked.
