Cute view and room for great price. Fun outdoor hot tub too!
At first they gave us a horrible room that stunk and was tiny and had a
view only of an old man spraying down an alley way. When I asked if we
could change, the girl didn't seem to mind at all, she just said we had
to wait until three. And the concierge in the evening was super helpful.
He set us up at a good place to eat and helped us get a discount on our
meal. (Especially helpful considering the direction the US dollar's been
going!) We also took a train so the cab ride to the train was only about
ten bucks. My only caution is that the hotel was a little far from all
the action, but that's what cab's are for. The cabbies always made great
conversation, anyhow. I would definately stay there again!
Area recommendations
Gastown had cleaned up significantly! Yale Town was a great place with
cute shops and restaurants. Along the water was spectacular. Roxbury was
all closed off in the evenings so you could just wander and watch all
the drunk young people. I was hoping to visit China Town, but it seemed
like a dump, so we stayed away.
What to pack
People dress pretty formal there and it was quite cold. We went in early
April and it rained a lot and was really chilly. There is a ton of great
shopping, but brace yourself for huge crowds of shopping tourists in the
main downtown shopping area. Also, if you are American, brace yourself
for high Canadian prices and a weak American dollar!

Nice Hotel, not the best location
We stayed at this hotel in April 2011 (two adults, two kids). The hotel
is a little far away from the most popular downtown area. It takes about
20-25 min to walk down. The hotel is nice and clean. The staff is
friendly and helpful. We had a coupon for breakfast, which is a great
deal for a family. However, I would not have paid $15/person for the
breakfast buffet that was offered in the restaurant.

Good location and value
Good value, nice view from the rooftop hot tub, clean hotel, walkable to
most of the places we wanted to go out. Overall very satisfied with our
stay. Parking was $20/night, which I think was cheaper than some of the
other nearby hotels.

Convenient location.
Walking to the Granville Island ferry, Robson Street and other downtown
attractions was easy from this convenient location. The staff were
friendly and helpful.Review of the Executive Hotel Vintage Park Vancouver

Pretty Nice
This hotel was within 2 blocks walking distance to a water taxi service.
This made for a quick trip to Granville Island which we toured for an
afternoon.

The Location is very convenient to get into the towncenter. But the
furniture's are not very new. Specially the bedspread looks old. |
