“Best location ever”
Every time I go to Vancouver BC, I stay at Four Seasons, since the location is
super convenient, and the room are comfortable. But it is a little bit noisy,
just a little.

“Quite good”
Location is great. Taking the cab to most places was inexpensive. Hotel was not
as fancy as I expected. Need a key for the fridge and it is jam-packed with the
hotel's drinks. We had to remove everything to put our drinks in and move it all
back the next day. Great view from our room and the service is very good.
Area recommendations
Italian Kitchen - amazing food
Robson Street -
great shops Metrotown
Shopping Centre in Burnaby - better than
Pacific Centre Mall

“Great Room, Great Location”
It was our first stay at the Four Seasons and hopefully not our last. The room
was well appointed and the view from the 26th floor was amazing. The bed was
extremely comfortable. No coffee maker in the room was a bit of a disappointment
but there is coffee available in the lobby near the elevators. The location of
the hotel made walking to everything relatively easy.
Area recommendations:
A tip: we took the Canada Line train from the airport and got off at Vancouver
city center, this saved us from traffic and taxis.
A walk thru Yaletown is worth doing.
Dining
Breakfast at the Winking Judge on Burrard was wonderful. The pub looked like it
would be a great stop for a beer or two in the evening as well

We stayed here for four nights in February. On arrival we were given a
complimentary upgrade to a suite which was very nice. We didn't have much
interaction with the staff, but when we did they were always polite and
pleasant.
The room was spacious and clean, likewise the bathrooms (we had two in the
suite).
The hotel is in a good location to explore most things in
Downtown , and is right
opposite the Canada Line Station so getting to/from
Vancouver Airport is easy
and inexpensive.
We ate out all the time so can't comment on the food at the hotel.
I would definitely stay here and definitely recommend it to a friend.

I stayed here for a week with my wife and young daughter. It is a good hotel,
but in need of a makeover, it's getting rather dated.
I only have a small complaint about the staff on check-in. I'd just flown in on
a long flight from London and wanted to go to my room to sleep. My company had
booked the room and provided a credit card for the booking. However the clerk
insisted I provide another credit card until he could confirm that my company
was picking up the charges, which I did. However my corporate card was not
working when he tried to charge $2000 to it. Why they need to charge that much
at check-in is beyond me, especially when he has the card that is going to be
used for the booking on file. Anyway, after arguing with them I had to provide a
personal card for him to pre-authorize the $2k. I hate doing this because it
locks up personal funds, and it is a nightmare to get re-imbursed by my company
later. Anyway long story short, the idiots ended up charging my personal card
for the entire trip and had to issue a refund later and charge my company card
as they had been instructed to do initially. It was very annoying and totally
un-necessary. Not what I call exceptional service...

The room was fine, apart from the fact they can only provide two double beds in
a room and not two queens. A double bed is just too small, even for a 2yr old
child and an adult to sleep in as we did. I don't know why any hotel would even
bother with double sized beds anymore. Normal sized people just cannot sleep
comfortably in them.
The pool and fitness centre was a nice surprise. It has an indoor and outdoor
component. The fitness centre also provided dumbells, which is becoming rare and
is very much welcomed by anyone who works out regularly.
Another annoying thing is that they lock access to the lifts from the bottom
level for some unknown reason. Sometimes the bell staff were there to give
access, but mostly you had to catch the escalator to the next level, then the
lift from there - annoying when you have a child in a pram. Guests should be
able to access these lifts with key/swipe access, but it looks like the hotel
and lifts are too old to have this technology.
It is still a nice hotel, but next time I'll be trying the
Fairmont instead.

We spent 6 nights there, as they offered this excellent package where one night
is offered for two nights spent: that alone made it a pretty good deal. So for
us the first positive point was the value for money. I found a very reasonable
rate on www.allure-hotels.com
The location of the hotel is absolutely central, very close to
Robson Street, and it
gives direct access to a mall, pretty convenient for shopping (without being too
busy or noisy, of course). It's also not far form the
Granville Street Skytrain
Station.
The Mosaic Bar and
Grille is pretty tasty, it seems local executives use it for business
lunches and as after work lounge.
Minor point is they kind of "promote" as having a Spa service, but it turns out
it's located a block away: not really practical, and not very "luxury" for a
Four Seasons hotel... not to mention the staffs there were a bit arrogant too.
