We loved the Hyatt Vancouver. We had a room with a balcony on a higher floor, which we extra for but was well worth it, the room was well furnished and had a nice clean bathroom. The view overlooking the city was awesome, its fun to be able to walk out of the hotel and be right in the middle of the city. The staff is gracious and competent--most eager to help in any way. we didn't wait in line at check in or at the restaurant We walked by many other hotels and feel that this is the best place to stay while visiting Vancouver. I was a little hesitant to stay here as I was reading the reviews but I found that this hotel and its staff were warm and welcoming.
Great Place !!!! We can't wait to return.

It was surprising to see negative comments about this hotel. When my car pulled into the drive way. The door staff was very friendly and welcomed me to the hotel. They help me unload and provide me with directions for parking and check-in. At Check-in the Front Desk Staff are very approachable and helped me to make this trip perfect. I would recommend anyone coming to Vancouver to stay @ the Hyatt Regency Vancouver. Please keep up the great work.

Poor room lighting. Very difficult to see clothes in closet because of lack of lighting.
Room key was disabled the day before checkout.
Newspaper delivery to room was missed or wrong paper delivered.
Very poor quality TV in room. Small screen and very poor picture quality.

I expect better in a Hotel of this nature. I think that there are better downtown hotels in Vancouver

Montreal to Vancouver for a sleep in before Whistler. We are not expecting Park Hyatt but at least Australian Hyat standard. It is a machine check in, it is late, we are exhausted. The foyer is cinema chain awful, the lift to regency floor reveals beige everything leading to a sterile room. No mini Bar, nothing except a bed & essentials and a view, of the rain on the city. Quick room service french onion soup was beef broth covered with plastic cheese.

Sleep. 4.30am we are woken by an awful insistent noise. Housekeeping has not reset alarm clock. Can't sleep so go to swim- outside pool and no, repeat NO change rooms, so strip in gym, swim, and find myself locked out.
REGENCY CLUB? Yeah- petrol service machine coffee Aussies hate, no eggs, just bagels lox and plenty of cream.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL unless your business is making you.
you have been warned.

My wife and I stayed for one night and were fortunate to be Priceline customers to this fine hotel. I was initially concerned due to some of the comments from other Priceline customers. However, a quick email to the hotel to request our room preference was met with immediate, accommodating assistance. The helpful professional attitude starts with the GM Steve McNally and filters down to the reception and valet service people. Kudos.

We are loving our stay here at the Hyatt. Every person we have come in contact with has exceeded our expectations for service. The front desk concierge had information for us under our door before we even officially checked in, and the club level concierge is so sweet and friendly. We are glad we will be here longer to enjoy this hotel. I do wish internet were included though.

I found the Hyatt reception and service people friendly and efficient. The location was great, and the rooms seem recently updated. My main concern, and my reason for not returning to Hyatt in the future, is the outrageous charge for internet usage, at $15.95 per device per day, if two people have smartphones they want to use, and/or two computers, that amounts to an extra $60+ per day!! Needless to say, not pleased at all.

We were very pleased with this hotel right in the middle of downtown Vancouver, close to everything. Rooms have received a tasteful update, beds are very comfortable, staff were pleasant. When in Vancouver again, I will likely return.

Location is the most convenient. Right in the centre of everything. Stroll down to the convention centre. Do not take taxi. Very friendly staff. The best I have ever came across. Shopping is close by and the City itself is super clean and beautiful. 4 DAYS was too short. Have to come back with family.
