Great hotel!! Would stay again
We have just returned from Vancouver, BC for a 9 day stay. We stayed at
La Grande Residence at the Sutton Place Hotel. We can not say enough
good things about the hotel We traveled with our 16 month old son. The
room was wonderful. Plenty of room to let him run around like a child
should. The room was also babyproofed for those of you with little ones.
We travel world-wide and usually stay in 5 star hotels. This ones meets
all expectations. We would return should we head back to Vancouver
again.
Family-friendly activities
Stanley Park
is a must see. Chinatown did
not feel as safe as many others around the world...

We stayed here for a week and a half in a lovely 2 bedroom suite. It was
spacious and so comfortable and we loved having a kitchen. The price is
a bit high, especially for internet and parking! But we did save some
money making our own breakfast. Gotta have the Japadogs out front! The
location was so convenient to tourist stuff and supermarkets and a nice
walk to Stanley Park. I can't wait to return.

We just returned from a weekend stay at the Sutton and loved every
minute of it! From the minute we walked in till the minute we left, they
treated us like we were royalty. The positives include evening turn down
service complete with chocolates and a card with the next day's weather
forecast. It's a little touch, but it just shows how guest focused they
are. The concierge desk came in very helpful as we decided to venture
outside the city on a couple occasions. They even knew where the new H&M
was located in the mall even though it had only been open a week. He
gave us very detailed directions, including which escalator to take and
which way to turn once we got off of it. I can't say enough about the
excellent level of service. The hotel is also one block away from Robson
street, which has all sorts of shops. The only negative was the cost to
park, but I'm from the cornfields of the mid-west where parking is
always free. Overall, I'd stay at the Sutton Place again in a heartbeat!

Fantastic home away from home!
Overall, outstanding stay at the Sutton Place. Friendly staff, clean and
well maintained hotel. A perfect place to stay with a family. We had a
one bedroom suite with a full kitchen. This allowed us some free time at
night without the kids being disturbed. Also, eating in was easy. There
is an IGA next to the hotel. We stayed for 4 nights and could walk
anywhere from that location. We were not able to take a taxi to the
Aquarium due to having 5 people so the hotel doorman arranged for the
hotel car and had someone drive us there. Now if that isn’t outstanding
service I don’t know what is! The doorman also gave each of our girls a
cookie upon our departure as a kind gesture. We will definitely stay
here when visiting Vancouver.

Very nice hotel in a great location.
We loved staying at this hotel. It was within walking distance to a lot
of places and very convenient to buses and the
Skytrain. It was also
very nice having a balcony to sit on and have coffee in the morning and
at night. We didn’t spend much time in our room but it was very nice and
the bed was comfortable. The pool closes too early for our liking so we
didn’t use it more than once. It was nice having a safe in the room.
Staff were very pleasant and eager to deal with any concerns. I was able
to find much cheaper prices on
www.allure-hotels.com than on the hotel's own website

Great City, Great Hotel
Amazing location, amazing hotel. Located in the heart of downtown this
hotel is great for both the business and pleasure traveler. The hop/on
hop/off trolley is located directly across the street. Many great
restaurants right across the street. Rooms were lovely, had big screen
TVs, a fully stocked kitchen and nice balcony. I used the gym and spa
and both were lovely, they also have a pool. Loved the staff, made it a
point to know my name...and a Chocolate dessert buffet???? No further
info needed...would highly recommend.

Would stay there again !
Very nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Loved room, especially since we
had young children.
