We stayed five nights at L'Hermitage and cannot praise the welcome,
friendliness and helpfulness of the front of house staff enough. Our
room was spacious and clean and very comfortable and although we didn't
eat breakfast at the hotel, we ate at Al Centro, the adjoining
restaurant and the food was excellent.
Use of the internet in the Library was very welcome too.
It is the excellent assistance of the staff which remains in our mind
however. Nothing was too much trouble, even to the extent of assisting
our daughter (who was not a guest at the hotel). First class customer
service which made for an excellent stay in Vancouver.

My husband and I spend two to three weeks out of most months travelling
for business and pleasure, mostly in Europe and truly understand what to
look for in a hotel. We like the privacy and personal attention of
smaller hotels, but do not want to forfeit luxury, service or comfort.
L'Hermitage was exactly what I had hoped it would be.
The moment we pulled up in front of the hotel and handed our keys over
to the valet service, one look at the beautiful, tasteful entrance to
the hotel, I knew I had found a jewel. We booked 8 nights here and
during our entire stay, we could find no fault with the rooms, staff,
service or location. There was no request that the staff did not kindly,
gladly and efficiently fulfill and often gave us excellent
recommendations for restaurants and shopping. The tastefully decorated
room had every comfort to suit are needs and we loved the attention to
detail.
The location is within walking distance of fabulous restaurants,
theatres, shopping and the waterfront.
We will certainly be back again and can warmly recommend this hotel to
you.

We were down for Easter weekend had a great time loved our room. Staff
were awesome hipo the lobby dog was friendly. Made our visit to
Vancouver memberable.

Early arrival after a 6 day cruise from LA - rooms not initially
available - but warm welcome from staff and taken to 5th floor lounge
for some great coffee while we waited. We were a family of 3 adults -
one bedroom signature suite, and another couple of friends.
Baggage taken to our room for us.
Suite was magnificent - luxury fitted kitchen - with washing machine and
dryer which is a great boon when you come off a cruise and have anotyher
week's holiday coming up.
And Hippo the canine concierge came our to welcome us when we arrived.
Great albeit short stay - and Vancouver (first visit) was stunning.
Really appreciated L'Hermitage.

This hotel is beautifully put together with style and comfort (great
bed!) and perfect location for shopping a walk to the waterfront. The
staff is accommodating and lovely and help out with all things
"traveling in Vancouver".
Will always go return!

This is a wonderful place to stay. Carefully designed and with gentle
and genteel care. An excellent location and with bikes to reserve. Just

We went to Canada to celebrate our 7th anniversary and, after staying in
Whistler we headed to Vancouver for a chill out time. The choice of
hotel could not be better - excellent location (really 5 mins walking
for everything), very nice rooms and a staff really interested in making
your stay memorable. The concierge and the rental bikes also need to be
highlighted. Definitely when we're returning to Vancouver (and we will)
I don't have to waste more time looking for accommodation.

The amenities, breakfast buffet and service at this hotel are excellent.
Concierge helped us reserve a table at a great restaurant nearby
(Goldfish) and we used the bikes to see Stanley Park.

This is a lovely hotel where they are very interested in making your
stay the best it can be. From walking around the desk to serve you
(instead of hiding behind it), to the beautiful library, nicely
appointed rooms, quiet hallways and chocolate at turndown, this hotel is
a winner. Hippo the hotel dog is awesome too!

We had the signature suite which is huge. Hotel has everything you need,
location is great. Highly recommend, for the money its the best i've
ever seen
