The central location, also near amusement park good for family activity
and plenty of parking space.
Best was the kind and attentive personal service from the desk staff,
extremely helpful. Included breakfast was adequate and all in all it was
good value for the money. Public transportation right in front of the
hotel for a 20-minute ride into downtown.

Great location to visit the PNE. Rooms we large, liked the beds being
split up between the bathroom, gives it a 2 room feel. Would stay there
again when attending the PNE..
Accessible, available internet (free), free breakfast

sunny the gentleman on reception was wonderful. nothing was to much
trouble for him. We had a large room and it was away from the road so
nice and quiet. the queen suite was very well designed with the bathroom
in between the 2 beds . suitable for families and privacy.

Handy as the bus from in front of hotel goes directly to downtown (135),
rooms decent but nothing special, percolator, reception staff helpful.
Negatives: room no ventilation, breakfast was below average, a bit run
down.
OVERALL if u r staying in this area/price range obviously u don't expect
5star quality so, for the price...reasonable.

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked into a hotel room that was
actually a suite! It had a living room and two queen-sized beds – each
in a separate bedroom. Even though we didn’t take advantage of it, the
kitchenette was also big and would allow anyone to create a great family
meal. But there were a few drawbacks to this hotel. When we made the
reservation for four, we were not told that there would be an extra fee
for our adult son. Evidently, the price I was quoted over the phone for
a one-night stay covered two adults only (me and my husband) because
when we arrived, we were told that the hotel’s policy is to charge an
extra $20 for each, additional adult. Also, although there is a covered
carport, the stalls are very narrow and hard to maneuver – especially if
you’re driving a van. Finally, even though the clerk was very friendly,
he did not offer us any assistance (different room, coupon for extra
night, etc.) or follow-up on our complaint that the toilet’s flushing
capacity was extremely low. Is there a plumber in the house?

Hotel staff was very accommodating. The size of the room was good but
the room needed some TLC. The carpet needed cleaning badly and the
furniture needed refurbishing. There were burns in the chairs and the
wood arms were very worn. The location is very far from downtown but
there is local bus transportation. The neighborhood does not give you
the feeling that you want to walk around. The hotel staff said, that
there were restaurants within walking distance but we did not pursue
that, instead we ate downtown before returning to the hotel. There is a
MacDonald's directly across the street which we used once. There is a
nice continental breakfast included but it isn't great.

Considering its location and price, I ranked the Best Western Exhibition
Park Vancouver Good. The only think I am not very satisfied is the
internet access. It was said there's high speed wireless internet.
However, I found the speed is relatively slow and the access is
sometimes unstable. Anyway, the service is good. I would like to
recommend it to my colleagues.

The clean newly carpeted room was comfortable but it was the service of
the staff that was nothing less than superb. The clean newly carpeted

Checked out the review of this hotel and like with all hotel reviews
there was good and bad ones. I would have to say I agree with those who
rated the hotel highly (given it is a 3 star hotel).
It was an excellent location to visit the PNE (2 blocks to the gate) and
saved us $20 on parking fees at the fair.
We stayed in a two queen rm which was so great with little kids as the
beds are split up by the bathroom giving it a two room feel. Lots of
space, mini fridge, microwave, 2 tvs. Beds were not the finest but not
bad & I am fussy with beds, I love my bed at home an nothing else
compares.
Free breakfast was included with varied choice: cereal, toast, eggs,
muffins, Danishes, apples, bananas, oranges, juice, coffee...couldn't
really ask for much more. (yes the breakfast room is small but it wasn't
that hard to deal with)
For $182 CA (including taxes) you just can't go wrong with this hotel
especially if your visiting the PNE.

I thought this hotel was very good. The neighborhood isn't as bad as
some may think. It's further down East Hastings, so there isn't any
problems. When first coming into the hotel, it doesn't look like it
would be very nice, but the rooms are very good. They layout of having
the two beds separated into two areas within the one room was very nice
for my group, having two guys and two girls. It was also nice that there
was a t.v. in both areas of the room for both of the beds. The room was
very clean and the beds were really comfy. The one thing that I did not
like was how small the bathroom was. Also, the bathroom had seen some
better days. There was cracking in the ceiling and around the sides of
the tub, but not really a big concern. Staff was nice and very helpful
when needed. Good hotel for young travellers, especially since the
amusement park is right down the road. I would stay here again.

Comfortable, spacious room. excellent breakfast, extra friendly staff who went
out of their way to be helpful. A little far from downtown, but over all a great
value for Vancouver. Free parking, free internet, everything was well done.

I stayed at this Best Western twice while visiting my daughter in Vancouver. It
was perfect for me because I just needed a good place to sleep. The bed and
pillows were very comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well. The front
desk people were friendly and helpful. It is located in a safe area, and I
walked to my daughter's apartment every day of my visit. The only negative for
me was the breakfast, which I didn't think was very good. It is not a fancy
hotel nor is the lobby very big, but if you just need a clean, comfortable place
to spend the night without spending a lot of money, I would recommend it.

We stay 3 nights and the front desk service is great and helpful. The location
is a little off downtown but price is more reasonable. It was in a convenient
location to the Pacific Coliseum and we enjoyed our stay very much. The rooms
were clean and comfortable.
