Stayed there for four nights with my wife on vacation. Great location in a
neighborhood with a ton of restaurants and it's only a short (5-10 min) drive to
downtown. Parking garage underneath hotel, but spots can be tough to find late
at night (parking on the street). Also has a grocery store directly across the
street. Friendly staff, good continental (free) breakfast each morning.

Clean, comfortable beds and bathroom, great continental breakfast with wide
selection (cereal, bagels, pastries, toast, coffee, juice, etc), very easy to
get downtown by hopping on a bus outside the door, safe neighborhood, friendly
staff. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend as good value for
money and a quality hotel (stayed for 3x nights in the end)

Stayed for two nights for business in the vicinity.
The good:
* close to some good restaurants and easily accessible by public transit
* wireless Internet was very fast but did require frequent reauthentication
* nice view of downtown Vancouver and the mountains from 3rd and 4th floor rooms
that were facing 10th Ave
* decent price for Vancouver - booked on hotel website and got AAA rate of just
over $120 per night
The Bad:
* one of the worst fitness rooms I have seen. Opens late (8 AM), water bottle
empty, 1 working elliptical trainer (other was broken), 1 ancient bike and 1 old
treadmill and a very limited number of light free weights. The room is a
solarium on the top floor with no ventilation so it felt like a
sauna.
* Room while spacious and clean was dated - old CRT television, ancient AC unit,
no mosquito screens on windows
* Limited continental breakfast

The only negative point I can find with this place was the tight parking in the
basement!
Excellent hotel. Free parking, free wi-fi, free breakfast and great location.
Bus right out the front door to downtown and Stanley Park in one direction and
to Granville Island in the other direction. Metro station - 10 min walk down the
road. Got a 10 coupon book at the chemist in the shopping complex next door.
Plenty of great eateries around the corner on Main Street, nice neighborhood.
Great choice for breakfast. Cereals, toast, yoghurt, pastries etc.
Clean rooms. All for around $90/night.
As I said parking was free but the parking garage was extra tight. And we had
just a mid size car.
highly recommend.

Location- about 10-15 minute combined bus and sky train journey to main
attractions which was ok as only cost 9 dollars per day per person.
Breakfast- was ok, very basic help yourself cereal, toast, pastries and juice
etc.
Room- was fine, nothing special but in comparison was cheap. Bed comfy, and
everything was clean.
Overall- not bad for money, quiet hotel. Location has ups and downs as was a
fair distance from downtown but had supermarket close by.

It is a better choice than lots of downtown hotels and if you like you can walk
to downtown within 20 minutes.
The room for breakfast is really small, especially for such a big motel. The
breakfast was very poor and not comparable to other best western motels I stayed
before.

I booked this hotel on Best Western website and I got the best rate ever (~CDN
83 incl tax for a booking of consecutive 4 nights).
I got a single bed room, very comfortable bed, free internet, free continental
breakfast, and more importantly, very friendly and helpful staff.
I was originally flied to Tokyo after my stay in Vancouver, but I had to change
flight to skip Tokyo because of earthquake, then I had to stay in Vancouver for
2 more days, and I really appreciated the hotel staff (forgot his name) to
quickly settle this matter for me.
Indoor parking might be a challenge as space would be kind of congested if
parked with other cars. There was a time I found it too challenging to park
inside, so I parked the car at night on 10th avenue just outside the hotel. Not
a problem then.
