Stayed one night in this pet friendly hotel, while in Vancouver attending an
event. Our party included 4 adults(2 of them mature) 2 teens and 2 dogs and we
required a hotel that was convenient to our venue. The rooms were a bit small
but comfortable, very clean, and fairly quiet. The staff were helpful and very
friendly. The stairs at the front entrance could be a problem for a disabled
person. Shopping, the Vancouver Public Library, the art gallery, the Orpheum
Theatre, etc are all nearby. Because we could not eat in the pub with the teens,
we had to search out a place for a late meal. We walked along Granville and
found Adonis Greek Taverna where we enjoyed a great meal for extremely
reasonable prices.
The complimentary breakfast in the morning was fine with the usual cereal,
muffins, waffles, fruit, toast, etc..
Overall, everyone in our party was quite satisfied, although the hotel is not
really geared for kids.

Very clean rooms, comfy beds, a little noisy when the bar lets out but the
double set of windows solves that - great idea !!!
Nice simple breakfast served in the morning - very relaxed atmosphere
Close to Robson Street and lively Granville Street
Can't wait to stay again !!

Stayed 2 nights at the Comfort Inn on my trip to Vancouver. Got a great rate
(was actually cheaper than the youth hostel across the street on Granville!!??).
Room was extremely nice, very comfy bed. Served a nice breakfast in the morning
as well. Staff were very friendly/helpful with directions in the area.
Biggest complain was wanted to stay 3 nights, but a sold out U2 concert
prevented that. Later found out they did have a room available for that night,
but it was C$199 (each night I stayed was C$75 before taxes!).
Would stay there again though, great deal for the location, extremely central to
all the sights and near the major bus lines/SkyTrain.

Well located downtown. Very good free breakfast. We were able to print our
boarding passes with the computer located in the lobby, fireplace in the lobby,
clean hotel, the cleaning ladies are doing a great job, flat screen TV.
Room was a bit small and there was no fridge in our room.

The room was noisy because there is an Irish pub on the 1st floor next to the
lobby. The housekeeper even left us a pair of earplugs. The neighborhood is the
Granville Street Entertainment District. The room was small like a NYC hotel
room. But with all this said, the room served our purposes and we got a great
deal on the room.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn on our recent trip to Vancouver. The hotel itself
was decent, clean room and a clean bathroom, but the room was quite small and
the location was on the Granville Street Entertainment District. The breakfast
was included and was very good. Overall the location was within 5mins walk to
Yaletown (great place for dining, lots of nice restaurants).

We recently went to Vancouver to get married on a very tight budget. We stayed
in a regular suite with a king size bed the 1st night, and had complimentary
breakfast the next morning at the Irish Pub next door, very fascinating place,
and polite staff!!! We informed the Hotel Manager that we desired to be married
in their hotel, and they we very accommodating. The Hotel Manager congratulated
us and then offered to put us up in one of their suites with a Jacuzzi Tub for
the same rate as the regular suite. We were married in the hotel by a local
Marriage Commissioner who was absolutely awesome!!!! The beds were the most
comfotable beds we have ever slept on in any hotel in our travels!!!!!!!The
staff were always extremely helpful, I called down to the Front Desk for a local
florist that wasn't expensive, and The Attendant directed me to a nice little
shop on Davies St. just about two blocks away. The whole experience in
Vancouver, BC was the best time we have had in a very, very long time!!!!!!! I
would recommend this hotel to anyone who plans on visiting Vancouver, BC!!!!! It
is located pretty much in the central Down Town area, and there was plenty to do
and see!!!! Overall a very positive and most enjoyable stay!!!!!!!!

This was our first stay at this property. Our usual favorite spots closer to BC
Place were already booked up several months earlier, so we thought we'd give
Comfort Inn a try. Check in went smoothly and we were offered an upgrade since
they were sold out and we had booked way in advance. The one bedroom suite was
spacious and had a kitchenette area (no stove top) and a separate bedroom area.
The furniture was interesting....can't really explain the decor but there were
purple and orange velvet chairs and a brown couch (thought we had a photo-sorry)
. This hotel is right on the fringe of a great area and a not so great area. As
long as you didn't look out the bedroom window, it was good. Didn't care for the
unsecured parking. Also didn't care for the lack of an express check out option.
Breakfast was decent though.
For the price, you can generally find something in a better area, but obviously
it depends on if there are big events....book early!

This hotel was quite decent for a 3 -star hotel. At first, we found that they
put us in a tiny double room contrary to the pictures we saw when booking.
Considering we were staying 14nts comfort was paramount so we were pleased when
the manager moved us to another room after our complaints. However room two was
right alongside some road works taking place, we were notified and given
earplugs so it wasn't too bad. Still not fully satisfied as there was no fridge
we told the manager again, she said that when a room becomes available she would
move us somewhere better....Boy did she move us, to one of the executive suites!
So I guess all the complaining and requesting really pays off. She was very
polite and helpful.
Overall breakfast was a let down as there was not much variety but for that
price whose complaining! Finally you get a couple of free passes for the local
club nite at the Doolins pub, this should come with a warning as the doorman on
one of the nights was rather rude, he thought he would take a look at us and
guess what 'music' we would like and offer his unwanted recommendations to local
bars! So watch out if you do not look like the style of music you like!!!
Overall a good hotel, clean and comfy (in the end).

To be short: great location, the cleanest bathroom that I ever seen, and very
friendly staff. The day we arrived was a birthday of our grandson. I mentioned
this while I was booking. When we opened a door of our room the first thing a
boy found was a balloon and beautiful gifts: an Olympic t-shirt and a mug. He
was admired, so were we. Also I would like to mention a great breakfast
facility, an old stylish pub, connected to hotel.

The hotel is more than what I expected from a property under the Comfort Inn
brand. The rooms are well appointed and clean, plus the staff is very helpful.
Overall, the hotel is great. However, a few important things to consider that
may turn some people off:
1) It's located in Vancouver's entertainment district.
2) There is a night club in the basement and pub on the main floor of the hotel.
Avoid getting a room on one of the lower floors as it can be loud at night. On
this trip I stayed in a room directly above the pub and found it to be too noisy
as I could hear the band playing all night until the pub closed, but on other
trips I stayed on higher floors and had no problems.
3) There is no fitness facility and the neighborhood isn't ideal for an evening
run (it's a late night entertainment district).

Decent location - the immediate surroundings are slightly rough, but the hotel
is within easy walking distance of some really nice shopping areas. The interior
of the hotel was much nicer than the exterior. My room was especially cute and
comfortable. Too bad about the noise - the band in the adjoining bar played
until at least 1 a.m. (on a Monday night), and I could hear it quite clearly. On
the plus side, the continental breakfast the next morning was ample.

Not many hotels allow five in a room, so we appreciated the Comfort Inn. If
economy is more important to you than a spacious room or beautiful view, this is
the hotel for you. The beds are new and comfortable, the bathroom clean and
newly redone , the free breakfast is plentiful and you can sit and read the
paper as long as you like, and the staff makes you feel like their most
important guest. The side street, Granville, is one of the least attractive
streets in Vancouver, but no one will bother you and the noise didn't reach our
room on the fifth floor. The hotel staff is security conscious, and the
nightclub uses a separate entrance. We walked and used Translink, there's no use
for a car in this city. We had dinner at Doolin's -- the Irish Nachos were
great!

Very nice hotel staff...quick check in and checkout....very quiet considering is
at busy interaction, parking wise is going to cost the costumer about $14
Canadian Dollar a night
free wireless internet, the room that i got which it has the whirlpool, the
bathroom is very nice however the bedroom is a bit smaller than i thought.
last but not least, it is a very nice hotel.

Arrived late on a Friday evening after driving up from Seattle on the way to
Whistler This is a party area if you want night life. Sidewalks were clogged
with younger adults out clubbing. The location is in the middle of downtown
Vancouver so its pretty central to most everywhere...Stanley Park, Granville
Island, cruise dock, Robson St. This was just a stopover and I just wanted to go
to sleep. Room was clean, but small... no bigger than 14 ft. by 14 ft....felt a
bit claustrophobic. Floor was slanted from the outside of the building towards
the interior hall. Reminded me of some of the smaller and older European hotels
that I have stayed in. Decent value with the breakfast (waffles, juice, coffee,
toast, pastries, and fruit) but might want to go elsewhere if you need a larger
room. Parking was an extra $15 next door.

This hotel was difficult to find, mainly due to construction and one way
streets. Once we found the hotel it was in a very good location in the centre of
town, we were able to spend the afternoon walking all around town and back to
the hotel without a problem. We chose this particular hotel for the Jacuzzi and
the ensuite Jacuzzi was very nice but the room was smaller than expected and the
bed not very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very good, large
assortment and plenty of space.
service was good. while we were checking out there was a couple checking in and
they were being rather rude to the receptionist and telling the receptionist
that he knew nothing. I was impressed with how the receptionist handled this
situation.
