Everything about this place was awesome. It helps that my favorite Irish
Pub is downstairs. I would go back in a heartbeat. It was also nice that
the parking pass was good for the next day until 6 pm. So we could
continue to explore the city without having to worry about parking.

I think this hotel may be used by lots of very young people coming to
visit Vancouver on the cheap. The noise level was unacceptable - and we
had to endure loud rap through the wall until 10 p.m. (quiet time) and
again by 6 a.m. The desk was responsive to a 2 a.m. complaint.

Overall for location the hotel was centrally located to all downtown
activities and the waterfront is only a 10-15 minute walk in several
directions. Shopping is footsteps away, starting with department stores
within 5 minutes to higher end in 10 along Granville. For the price it’s
a decent place, and the breakfast for convenience was good - there was a
nice selection. It is not a high end establishment but if you are
looking for affordable and convenient it’s good bet. My only issue was
there is a bit of a transient population in the area - only on
Granville.

Hotel was Great!! I was on crutches and they took care of my needs very
well.
This hotel is in a great location. Close to everything. Great nightlife
around it. Room was clean and a decent size. Super Irish pub in the
hotel.

Stayed at hotel over weekend of January 16. Our experience was average -
nothing special - but for the price we received we could not really
complain much.
Pros: Clean room. Comfortable furniture. Trendy up-to-date decor.
convenient parking. free wifi. free breakfast. Staff was helpful and
pleasant.
Cons: very thin walls (and we had loud neighbors on our sides and above
us). Very small rooms, especially in comparison to pictures. Near bars,
so noisy at night.

Stayed here just after New Years following our ski trip for 2 nights, we
booked this hotel because we needed accommodation for 2 adults and 3
children and from the reviews and photos on trip advisor it seemed ok
until... we opened the door to our room and walked straight into the end
of one of the beds they must have taken the photos with and extreme wide
angle lens to give the illusion of a large spacious room there was
barely enough room to walk around the beds, also the room was on a lean
that's right you always felt like you were walking up hill or down hill,
to top it of the walls and the floors are paper thin on our last night
here the person in the room above was constantly walking around till
3.30am in the morning he finally stopped !!

Although the hotel itself is not too bad (clean, nice staff) we had not the best
stay there. Make sure you don't get a room on the 1st floor, because the irish
Pub in the lower level is pretty busy and loud. However, the staff was very
cooperative in getting another room for us. The key cards on our door lock
worked very, very bad. Most times, the door opened after 10 attempts only. The
breakfast offer offers only very few choices.

The good first: the room was clean and well tended; the bed and linens were
comfortable and warm; the staff were generally helpful and responsive. For
simply sleeping this is fine (mind you, I did not stay on the weekend when other
reviewers said the pub is in full swing.)
Cons: breakfast is served in the downstairs pub; I had a view of an alley and
could see through the windows of a run-down boarding house from my window; the
elevator was very small; the room was small and had only a small window to open
for ventilation; on arrival the hall smelled of Chinese food (which would have
been fine if it had been mine:) ; my room was not ready when I arrived.
