The Executive provided a great home away from home. The staff were
fantastic, friendly and able to provide knowledge of surrounding area.
Good sized rooms and access to stores and coffee shops. The only
drawback is a somewhat basic fitness room.

Check in was fine. Our room was very small and the bed and pillows were
very cheap and uncomfortable. At the hot tub there were never clean
towels even after mentioning it to the front desk. You must pay for
parking which is fine but upon check out there were additional charges
for parking that were not made clear at the beginning. Overall
experience was just not good.

Yes the rooms are a bit smaller, but for a couple, lots of room.
Everything was clean and comfortable, the hot tub was nice and quiet,
and the room service was better than average. Only suggestion is to cool
down the exercise room. (If there was air-conditioning, didn’t notice
it).

This was a very nice hotel...I would even rank it 4 or 4.5 stars. The
room was a bit small, but I only stayed 2 nights, so it was not a
problem. It was very clean, quiet, comfortable bed and the staff at the
front desk was extremely helpful. Free apples in the lobby was a nice
touch

A wonderful hotel for the price. The only con that I can think of was
that the rooms were rather small. But the service was great, the
location was within walking distance of pretty much anywhere, and the
hotel was clean and nice. The free wine tasting was a nice touch too :)

I stayed here with my boyfriend for Valentines Day, we got a package
deal for under $300 which included an upgraded room with a king bed and
jacuzzi tub, a bottle of champagne, chocolate dipped strawberries, one
movie rental, valet parking, candles and massage oil! The location was
so so, close to many restaurants but not shopping. The hotel was quiet
and elegant, I would stay here again if it were for a romantic getaway.

Overall the Executive Hotel Vintage Park Vancouver was awesome. I would
have given it 4.5 stars if I could. Skytrain ride from the airport,
great downtown location next to Granville Island, shopping and the
beach. Walking distance to Stanley Park and other downtown attractions,
and bus stops everywhere nearby. The traffic was sometimes a bit noisy
from our room (we were on the 6th floor), but I think any of the
downtown hotels would be that way, and it wouldn't keep me from staying
here again. Our room was smallish but modern and very clean, with a cool
view of downtown. The best part about the Executive Hotel Vintage Park,
was how incredibly friendly and helpful the staff was. I cannot say
enough good things about them!

My wife and i enjoyed the Executive Hotel Vintage Park Vancouver. Within
walking distance to all attractions, shopping, dining and entertainment.
The wine tasting are great and the views spectacular. B.C has great
wine. I highly recommend this hotel. Some rooms are smaller than others,
but the hotel has much variety...we were also upgraded on our last night
to a larger luxurious suite and the room was amazing, spacious and the
view facing English Bay was spectacular from the 16th floor.

We stayed at the Executive Hotel Vintage Park Vancouver at the recommendation of a friend. We usually stay
elsewhere when we are in Vancouver and will probably go back to the other place
we liked. The location of this hotel is weird. To find it easily if you are not
familiar with Vancouver is a bit of a challenge. It is very small and cramped.
The restaurant menu was expensive so we didn't go there. The place is like fort
Knox which was thankful as we seen more than a few scary looking people
wandering around. Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was not that clean, the
light switches had dirty fingerprints on them and the whirlpool tub had pinkish
type of buildup around the jets. View was nice.

Our kind mother booked the Executive Hotel Vintage Park Vancouver with her points, and we suspect that paying
with points put us low on the priority list. They tried to put us in a single
room (two adults and a toddler!) and would not give us a cot for our child,
since they said the room was too small. No kidding. We found out from our mother
that she had booked a double room - they had no record of this but did, same
day, switch us to a bigger room. The security was good at this hotel and the
front desk was friendly. This was good. We got a rude awakening when we got
home, however. We found a charge for about $40 on our credit card statement,
well after we had left. We called and they claimed that a both robe went
missing. AKA accusing us of theft. But why wouldn't they contact us about this?
They simply charged our card. No signature, no notice. I recalled our robes
going from two to one after a room cleaning, but I didn't think anything of it
and did not mention it when we were there. Anyway, they did reverse the charge,
thank you. Overall, it was insulting. We won't go again.

The room was somewhat small, but clean, quiet, comfortable, and reasonably
priced. The hotel is within walking distance of many city attractions. This was
a great choice of locations to stay in Vancouver, but all the more so due to
their concierge, Albert.
Upon arrival we were immediately greeted by Albert with a fantastic, warm smile.
He showed us to our room, described every amenity the hotel offered, and then at
our request, gave up top notch recommendation on where to go and what to see
during our short stay so we could get the most out of our visit. The personal
attention was beyond anything we have experienced in typical hotel stays but
then it got even better. On our first night we bought postcards to send to
family but we arrived late and hadn't had a chance to mail them. Albert offered
to drive us to the main post office (at 10:00 PM!!) because he said they process
mail all night for morning dispatch and this would help get our cards delivered
to family before we got back. Few concierges would do this for something so
small as a few postcards, but Albert made the hospitality of Vancouver shine
with his extra effort and helped make our wedding anniversary even more special. |
