Loved the print out service for boarding passes. The internet was expensive, is
free in some hotels. Ordered popcorn and pizza as room service, came to the room
with a table, linens and silverware!

My husband and I stayed here last month for a week of fun in Vancouver. It is
centrally located which was why I picked this hotel. We are avid travelers and
have stayed at a wide range of hotel chains and this was our first with the Four
Seasons. I was excited because I expected the hotel to be awesome. I was taken
for a surprise and not in a good way. The hotel was older and you can definitely
tell by its current state. Our hotel room was a comfortable size but the tables
in the room were extremely dusty and I noticed this as soon as we arrived. Upon
my arrival I noticed that the lamp shades on the side tables were crooked. This
may not be a big deal for most but remember…..this is the Four Seasons you are
staying at. The decor was old and the restroom could use some updating. I used
their swimming pool once and it too could use some work. It leads outside to the
terrace where there were trees whose leaves had blown into the pool and left
there. The pool is in the same room as the fitness area with no dividers which
made it uncomfortable.
I have stayed at the Sheraton chain many times and was more impressed by it than
by this hotel. Besides being centrally located, nothing else sets this hotel
apart from any other lower end hotels in the same area.

If you ever get the chance to stay at the Four Seasons in Vancouver, take it.
It's not always the most affordable choice - in fact, we stayed here for a
conference and paid just C$185 per night - but it is worth it for the impeccable
service and facilities. We would return here anytime!
Room Tip: request north facing rooms for best water views.

We, family of 3, stayed in a gold executive suite for 3 nights and we regret
choosing this hotel. This was our first time in Vancouver and we chose this
hotel thinking," We can't go too wrong with a Four Seasons," but we did.
The hotel is old and dated. It needs a serious renovation.
Our room was spacious with two bathrooms but it was musty, the furniture was old
and uncomfortable for sitting. The bathrooms were small, the tubs small, the
water flow in the shower feeble and we had to use the blow dryer to clear the
steam off the mirror.
The gold executive suite didn't have a coffee maker, no complimentary water --
$7.50 each for the two bottles thoughtfully left on the bureau top -- and the
wireless was not free. They had a coffee station in the lobby in the morning,
but it ended at 8am. They had very small take-out coffee cups and tiny pastries
in small numbers which were slow to be refilled. Very reminiscent of a Hampton
Inn. Nothing against the Hampton Inn, but I don't think they pretend to be
5-star. After the first day, we opted for Starbucks which was right across the
street. If you're going to do coffee stand, do it right!
The location is great and the concierge service is good, but with all new great
hotels opening around town, I'm afraid the Four Seasons falls a season short. We
were expecting much more from a gold executive suite at a Four Season's for 585
CAD+/night. We would certainly not stay here again. |
