stayed 3 nights, great front staff and concierge, located on top of
Pacific Centre (shopping mall) which is attached to both City Centre and
Granville skytrain stations.
Front staff found out that it was our anniversary so manager send up
great food/snack tray as compliment. Room is basic and clean, little
small. Our room on 23rd flood facing constructions across the street but
little view of waterfront. Complimentary newspaper, turndown service,
has safe in room. Great comfortable king size bed, flat screen large tv...recommended
this for location, across from Vancouver Art Fallery, next to Robson
Street shops, 4 blocks easy walk to water front , many place to eat.
There is also food court at Pacific Centre. Hotel provide variety of
tea/coffee and light breakfast bakery at lobby in the morning (no coffee
machine in room). We took Skytrain-Canada line from airport, which
station is right across from Hotel. Very nice indoor-outdoor swimming
pool together with workout gym.

Despite living a couple blocks away, I booked the 2 storey presidential
suite for some mindless indulgence on my birthday. They recently
renovated the suite so it looked nothing like the pictures on the
website, it had no character, and resembled a generic business hotel
room but larger. I wished they updated the photos or at least mentioned
it to me prior to booking it. Despite the suite having a dining room and
seating for 6 people, I was told I couldn't have 6 guests in my suite
without having the hotel cater or provide room service, which I found
odd but whatever, they wanted to make money. The room service staff were
incredible and polite. The service at Yew was awful, I took my friend
there for drinks and we waited 15 minutes to place our order and another
15 to get it, the female server was cold and unapologetic and blamed the
bartender. While I'd give Yew a second try as the drinks were admittedly
good, I wouldn't recommend staying here for a vacation/getaway and
definitely not for a honeymoon, it's a total business hotel that lacks
charm or style you'd normally get and expect with the Four Seasons
franchise in other cities.

Any Four Seasons you go too is with class and luxury. If I have the
choice to stay at any hotel it would be here. There service is great and
the rooms are beautiful. You can't ask for anything more.

Everything about the hotel experience was great. The room was spacious
and comfortable. The Yew restaurant was good; room service delivery was
prompt; the food was good, the service was exceptional. All employees
were courteous and professional. I'm so glad we decided to splurge on
this stay.

We loved the Four Seasons. It was centrally located in Vancouver so as
we could walk to most of the famous sites in the city. The young doormen
were very helpful in directing us to good restaurants and which buses to
take for our excursions. Everyone was so friendly!

I have stayed at the Four Seasons several times for business and I
return for leisure when I go into the city for weekend excursions. The
rooms are always very clean, the beds are ridiculously comfortable, and
the service phenomenal. The concierge is always extremely helpful. The
pool/gym area is lovely and the change rooms feel sort of like a spa. I
go just to sit in the hot tub and drink one of the fruit-infused water
selections they carry. Never been the restaurant Yew although I've been
meaning to and it looks great. I love that it's attached to the mall and
that I can take a five minute walk from my room to grab a latte to bring
back. Great location in the heart of downtown. I've stayed in many
hotels in downtown Vancouver but this is by far my favorite. My only
complaints are that it's a tad pricey and the view from the rooms is
usually quite ugly, but that's what you get staying right in the middle
of downtown

Nice hotel, but what did I do to get stuck with the room that faced a
construction site? I didn't notice this right away because the drapes
were drawn when I entered the room after checking in. It was night when
I opened them and didn't notice the construction site until 7am when the
noise started. I could see them and they were close enough to see
me...not comfortable! I wanted to wake up in the morning to the sites of
the city and skyscrapers, not a construction site. It was a pretty
disappointing way to start my new life in Vancouver. My company put me
up in this hotel during my relocation. I had a early morning flight the
day before with only a few hours of sleep...being woken up @ 7am to the
noise of construction was not the way I wanted to start my day. Needless
to say, I was not impressed. Just make sure you to ask that you have a
room that does not face the construction. I don't plan to stay at a four
seasons ever again.

On the night of my wedding night I booked at the Four Seasons for the
night. When I got there in my suit and the wife in hers we were
immediately upgraded to a suite and given 2 free breakfasts worth $85
and not to mention free parking!!! Everything they did for us was
greatly appreciated and I will be there again for sure....
