The Georgian Court Hotel was conveniently located in downtown
Vancouver, about a block from the arena at which the Canucks
play. Within a mile of the hotel (my walking distance) there was
a plethora of restaurants, shops, and sights. The room was large
(for a standard hotel room) and clean. It wasn’t spectacular,
but I didn’t pay for spectacular. The price I paid, coupled with
location, room quality, and staff made for a great stay at an
affordable price. You have to pay for parking, but that wasn’t
horrible. It was $16 per day.

Had a great weekend stay, very good meal at the restaurant,
walking distance to most everything downtown, Yaletown, shopping
& entertainment. The staff were very friendly and very helpful.
We'll be back there for our next weekend away.

The Georgian Court is a nice, older boutique hotel. The service
was great and very friendly. Some of the staff need to be a bit
more knowledgeable about the surrounding area, but overall very
helpful. The steam room and whirlpool was a nice added bonus. So
everything was great except, for some reason after the first
night i stayed there, I would get an itchy rash at while I was
sleeping. Don't know if it was the bedding (they said they would
check) or maybe it was a reaction to the Aveda products in the
room. Nevertheless....very annoying!!! The rooms seemed clean,
but I don't know if something else was going on.

Lovely hotel with good size rooms that was very clean and well
kept. We stayed two nights and found the location ideal to all
the downtown Vancouver sites and the staff was extremely helpful
with sightseeing musts and good nearby restaurants. Loved the
in-and-out parking.

Our room at the the Georgian Court Hotel bed with its duvets,
pillow top mattresses was probably the most comfortable bed I
have slept in. having the free high speed internet kept us in
touch with our family, having windows that open was a plus has
sometimes these air conditioners play havoc with my sinuses. The
William Tell was a fancy restaurant that we may try on our next
visit had a nice lunch in the sports bar downstairs. We will not
only recommend this hotel but will come back on our next trip to
Vancouver. Getting around is easy with out a car, 1 block from
GM Place and Robson Street Yaletown and Gastown are within
walking distance.

I stayed at this hotel while visiting a prospective employer in
Vancouver just before the Olympics started. The company covered
the cost of the accommodation so I cant comment on the value of
the hotel but the food was good value and quality in the bistro
bar and adjacent sports bar.
The hotel is located directly opposite BC Place and is handy for
Robson St, Canucks hockey and city centre shopping. the stadium
skytrain station is two blocks away and Yaletown is a few blocks
walk away. A trolley bus city tour service stops right outside
the hotel and the hotel offers a free shuttle service to
anywhere in downtown Vancouver.
I stayed in a suite on the 8th floor, the room was very nice
with comfy bed and nice bathroom, the hotel provides free
wireless and wired internet and a flat screen TV is provided in
the living area and bedroom. There is a coffee machine and tea
making facilities plus free water in the room.
Service at the front desk and bars / restaurants was always very
good.
The hotel has a Jacuzzi, steam room and small gym which were
nice after a hard days sightseeing / interviews - particularly
after snowboarding at Grouse Mountain.
I would recommend this hotel to business travellers and anybody
who is looking for a good quality hotel with access to most of
the sights

We stayed at the Georgian Court for its proximity to GM place,
and based on reviews. We were very happy with our decision. The
hotel was very nice, although the beds/room a little small, but
very comfy beds, nice TV, bathroom, etc. The front desk was very
helpful as well for any questions, cabs were always available at
the lobby, and the umbrella (and safe) in the closet were
unexpected, yet appreciated.
Was a quick, easy walk to shopping on Robson Street and we felt
very safe walking around shopping, and to/from GM Place at
night.
Aside from all the rain, we enjoyed our time in Vancouver, and
wouldn't hesitate to recommend Georgian Court.

Where do I begin? The Georgian Court Hotel staff was wonderful,
there to help with your every need. Directions to the best
restaurants, entertainment and all that Vancouver has to offer.
The hotel is in a perfect location, pretty much the heart of the
city. Room Service was a little high in price, but I got over
it. LOL. Rooms were nice size and the bed was super comfy! :)
Hotel is quiet and super clean. I loved, loved, loved my stay at
The Georgian Court. I highly recommend this hotel, for all,
whatever your occasion might be. I sincerely hope I can get back
to Vancouver sometime soon!!

The Georgian Court Hotel is a pleasing place to stay. Just like
a fine hotel should be. Friendly staff, location is within
walking distance of most places. If you want good food, get out
and walk to some of the pubs around town. The pub just down the
street has wonderful food and puts up with people like us who
don't drink. Overall, the Georgian Court can't be beat. Enjoy
