This was a very handy hotel which our next day tour would agree to pick up at. The neighborhood was very ordinary in our opinion. If we had more money, we would have stayed a few blocks up. The staff were curt, to say the least. But the place is busy, the rooms are clean and it served our purpose. The restaurants (2) were over-rated.

I want to add a thumbs up to this hotel based primarily on their excellent beds. My sister and I travelled a long way, going backwards in time, from Tokyo to Vancouver and when we got to the Hotel at 10/11 am we were stoked to have access to a room so early. Like I said, the beds were just perfect: soft mattress, extra fluffy blankets and pillows, etc. The cold Vancouver weather was completely forgotten when indoors. Overall, a good room.

The hotel staff could have been more helpful with the tourist stuff. I think they're a business hotel first so it isn't a priority. Just some more knowledge about public transport and good places to eat would have been good. and the internet access in the lobby is very slow.

Myself and my partner checked into the Georgian Court Hotel as we wanted to stay somewhere close to GM Place for the concert we were attending - the hotel was literally a stone's throw away.
The reception we got was great - extremely helpful, pleasant and courteous. We even got a free room upgrade without asking which was pretty neat! Parking at the hotel was $13 (which we also got free!!).
The room was spacious and well appointed, and the bed was extremely comfy.
Good choice of breakfast, and once again, very courteous, helpful staff. We'd most definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Georgian Court Hotel - there are renovations happening in the lobby as well as everywhere around downtown Vancouver as the city gets ready for the Olympics. Our room on the 10th floor was recently redecorated and very nice: comfy bed, small fridge, love seat and arm chair, lovely bathroom with Aveda products, bathrobe, Globe & Mail newspaper, free internet (sometimes a bit slow but hey, it was free), free bottled water... Loved the breakfast that came with our room - a hot buffet with eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes, breads & muffins, cereals, yogurt, fruit plus juice and coffee. Great way to start a day of sightseeing. Location can't be beat - can walk to Yaletown and have your pick of great restaurants. Also can walk to the Vancouver Art Gallery and all the trendy shops on Robson St. We will definitely go back!

We enjoyed this hotel. We felt safe and close to downtown shops and restaurants. The beds were comfortable and beautiful. The room was clean and decorated elegantly. The Aveda shampoo, conditioner, body lotion and soaps provided are of the best quality and I felt pampered. There was a refrigerator that was stocked with items you could purchase, but they left some room to put a few things of your own. A newspaper was provided each morning outside our door. There were complimentary bottles of water upon our arrival and at the front desk. The staff at the front desk was professional, friendly and helpful. We stayed in three different hotels on this trip and this was by far my favorite. I would most definitely stay there again.

We arrived in the morning expecting to not be able to check in until later, but the front desk clerk checked us right in, which made for a really nice start for our one day stay in Vancouver. The hotel is just a short walk from the places we wanted to go, including a Catholic Church. The next morning the front desk clerk also helped us order flowers to be delivered to a friend. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We used the internet service but did not have time to use a fitness center. We really enjoyed this first visit to Vancouver and appreciate the fact that this hotel provided a nice place to stay.

I stayed with a friend at this hotel recently and was very impressed. The beds were very comfortable, and the room was clean and attractive. This hotel is within walking distance to shopping areas and restaurants, and the art gallery. There is also a hot tub and steam room which were an added bonus.
The best thing about this hotel was how friendly and helpful the staff were in recommending restaurants and activities for visitors who were new to Vancouver. The price was very reasonable, and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at the Georgian in the future.

Stayed at this hotel and was quite pleased. It is convenient to downtown shopping, restaurants and arenas. The rooms were nice and comfortable. The Hotel's staff seemed to go out of their way to provide assistance, whether it was offering recommendations or directions to local attractions. At the time of my stay, the Hotel was in the midst of major renovations. However, the resulting noise did not prove to be an issue. My only complaint is that the internet service was somewhat unreliable.

We drove into Vancouver from Seattle and had to paid an extra 13 dollars per night for parking. Not a bad deal considering there's hardly any free street parking around, and you can take the car in/out as many time as you want. Most of the time we just left the car in the garage and walked around town.

The renovation for the lobby is done, and it is elegant yet modern. The room we stayed in was very nice and the bed was comfortable. We mostly ate out so didn't try the restaurant in the hotel. We went to the gym and the equipments are in good shape. We also used the steam room and whirlpool, and since we were the only one there at the time, it definitely has the exclusive spa feel to it.

There was one funny incident at the hotel though. Two guys took the hotel lounge chairs and put them in the elevator and started drinking in the elevator. We took a ride up with them. They were odd but friendly, so no harm done.

Hotel chosen because of this website . We were delighted with the room , lots of fluffy towels ,iron and board, hairdryer ,and mugs instead of silly little cups to make proper coffee in . The beds were very cosy and comfortable, just perfect after a 10 hour flight. Changed bed linen daily .Staff very helpful too .Good location for Gastown . Yes we were very pleased with our choice and would book again.

I think we stayed in this hotel Jan 10th 09 but don't remember (since we were in Vancouver more than once during the winter season). Reason we stayed in this hotel is because we wanted to go to a Canuck's game and it's walking distance from the stadium. It was a decent price and comfortable rooms. We had no issues.

I got a deal on this room but I would never pay their normal rate to stay here. The bed is comfortable and rooms are clean and quite. No breakfast included which was surprising because of the price. I did not travel with my laptop this time but the front desk staff told me there are computers available in the office center. Great location for events and for the restaurants in Yaletown. I would stay again but would pay no more than $170.

We stayed here for two nights in early July. Very nice hotel, great location, reasonable rates. We checked into our room and the guest who stayed in that room before us must have been smoking in the room (it is a non-smoking hotel). No fault of the hotel's, we called down to the front desk, someone was up to our room to check it out within minutes and since they had no other similar rooms available they immediately gave us a suite. That's the kind of service that makes people remember your hotel and keep coming back. I would definitely stay there again.
