July 11, 2011 Lovely hotel, very helpful staff, large rooms. Close to the city centre, just 10 min walk to Canada Place, where cruise ships dock and seaplanes take off and land. Also recommend Joyeaux Cafe a few minutes from the hotel, great for breakfast/lunch. Guest Review of the Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver July 9, 2011 We were allocated a deluxe room for the three nights of our stay. It was spacious, spotlessly clean and had a lovely, large marble bathroom. The staff were efficient, courteous and helpful in every way. They made our 30th wedding anniversary very special. The hotel is situated in the centre of the city, a block away from the Art Gallery, a few minutes' walk from the quay side and surrounded by shops. A taxi rank is directly outside. We would certainly stay there again if we were to revisit Vancouver. The staff is impeccable, and the hotel has great amenities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. We'll definitely be staying there again when we vacation in Vancouver again. Guest Review of the Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver July 6, 2011 This is a fantastic hotel if you are travelling to Vancouver. Location is great, walking distance to everything in downtown. Rooms are very nicely appointed and with great amenities. Great staff with superb service. Room service and the restaurant were First Class. The hotel has a beautiful gym with an indoor swimming pool. Overall a great experience and certainly recommended to anyone travelling on business or leisure to Vancouver. The Diva restaurant lived up to it's reputation and more. We would not hesitate to recommend the Met and Diva to anyone visiting Vancouver and we very much hope to return again one day. Guest Review of the Metropolitan Hotel Vancouver July 3, 2011 This hotel had a perfect location and the rooms were wonderful. We had 3 rooms and all were very clean and comfortable. The hotel stored our luggage until it was time to get on our ship for our cruise. Canada Place is just a couple of blocks away to get on our ship. |
