Stayed at the hotel and paid extra for the view of downtown Vancouver.
The view was great, although as many others have said, it is noisy as it
is on the street side of the hotel. Our room had two double beds and a
small bathroom. The room was clean and adequate, but a bit small. The
staff was helpful and provided information on how to catch the ferry
using public transportation. The hotel was a short walk from the Sky
train which allows you to get into Vancouver quickly.

the station is four blocks away. Mart is just across the street. staff
is very friendly and helpful. there is no walkway or garden in the
property. Rooms and the hotel is clean.
Free wifi in hotel rooms is available .Also fridge , microwave and iron
and coffee machine in room which can help in warming up the food in the
rooms. Higher floor recommended with road side for a good view of city

My Sister, Mom and I recently stayed at this Hotel. Our reason for
booking this one was because of closeness to the Vancouver General
hospital. My mom was booked for surgery there. Its a lovely clean hotel.
It is close to good restaurants, close to the skytrain and very close to
the hospital. we had a room facing downtown Vancouver.. so exciting as
we were there for the first game of the Stanley cup finals. If you like
sleeping with the window open you might want a room on the quiet side of
the hotel as West Broadway is a noisy street at all hours of the night.
You are only about 2 k from the skytrain station which will pretty much
take you anywhere you want to go. Our vehicle didnt move from the
parking stall as it was much easier then driving. Hotel was extremely
clean and staff was friendly and helpful. A great place to stay!

If you have appointments at VGH and you have to come in from out of
town, this is the place to stay. We drive a Ford F350 so we just parked
it(in the hotel lot) and taxied it. Pretty quiet considering a hospital
next door and the helicopter landing pad right behind the windows.
Suited our requirements just fine.

The hotel was adequate for our needs - a clean, reasonable place to stay
to sleep. We use earplugs to sleep and that is important because we
found the street noise very loud and compounded by the heating system
fan in the room.

The hotel is very conveniently located, on a main boulevard, just
outside of the downtown core, but with easy access to the downtown and
to many residential areas as well as to the airport (which is about 30
minutes away). Shopping and restaurants are within walking distance and
Granville Island is a five-minute drive. The hotel itself is modern and
well maintained. Streetside rooms have a beautiful view of the city. The
rooms themselves are nicely appointed and are comfortable although
somewhat small. The bathroom was very small, without enough room for two
people to stand in at the same time. The indoor parking area was open to
the public but well lighted, clean and well maintained, with parking
spaces easily large enough for vans and SUVs. Staff was very pleasant,
efficient and helpful. One minor disappointment was that the high-speed
Wi-Fi Internet connection signal was "low" or "very low" throughout our
stay, with the result that, although the connection worked most of the
time, it was very slow. The desk staff"s attempt to rectify this problem
with a portable modem was, unfortunately, not successful.
