Stayed in Vancouver for the first time and thoroughly enjoyed it. The
Park Inn hotel location was great for us, walking distance to granville
island, view of downtown , lots of good restaurants nearby. The staff
was very helpful with directions and restaurant suggestions, The
accommodations are nice and clean. I would definitely recommend this as
a good place to stay. Downtown Vancouver is expensive and this hotel was
a good alternative to save a few bucks.

We came to Vancouver for a business meeting and a Canucks game and it
was convenient for both. Glad we upgraded to a view room because the
view is spectacular. Rooms were clean and updated, loved the fridge and
microwave in the room. Lots of great restaurants in the area and the
hotel restaurant was very good too. Would definitely stay here again.
Staff were always smiling and very helpful.

My wife and I decided to stay here due to the nearby car rental office
and easy cab to the airport. The room allocated to us was very clean. We
had a view of the back car park but we didn't think it too bad as we
only stayed one night. The restaurant and room service were very good
and staff very friendly. There are plenty of other food outlets nearby
so you have plenty of choices of where and what to eat. Reasonable room
rates make this hotel a comeback to hotel. I think this hotel was good
value for your money.

Tip: Make sure you check in as early as you can. We were unable to and
they were out of rooms with ocean views. Half of the rooms face the
ocean and the other half are facing the alley! Anyways, the balconies
are the highlights for this place. Not many places feature this so
that's a big plus.

I found the Park Inn & Suites on Broadway here to be pretty good and not
too expensive. The room was clean and had a coffee maker, hair dryer and
free newspaper. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel was
located were there are places to eat and drink ie. a pub, fast food,
Indian/Asian restaurants etc. within walking distance. The only thing I
can say is that I wish there were a soda machine on the floor I was on
and the street outside the hotel can be busy at times and the back view
of the parking lot isn't great but these are very minor things. I would
definately stay there again, no problems.

A relaxed atmosphere prevails in this family friendly, seven-story hotel
that frequently caters to visitors making use of the extensive medical
services available in the surrounding neighborhood, including adjacent
Vancouver General Hospital. Located 2.5 miles from downtown Vancouver,
it appeals to travelers who want to be near downtown but not at its
center. The West Broadway neighborhood features numerous international
restaurants

As I live in a rural area I must travel to Vancouver for medical reasons
quite regularly. I often stay at this property as it is convenient and
close to all amenities and medical facilities. I also enjoy the little
restaurant in the hotel and the pub next door. The staff are friendly
and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the rates are
competitive. I will continue to stay here whenever I need to be in the
downtown area.

Arrived very late and very tired good efficient reception and
comfortable room. A bit noisy which they warned us about. Everything you
need is provided including a microwave. Next day enjoyed breakfast but
girl on desk very vague about everything and we ended up setting off
with no idea where we were going - serendipity. Found Granville Island
-found little boats -result gorgeous day. Snacked all day so bypassed
all the restaurants and there are plentyof them along Broadway all very
handy. Tried to leave some books behind to lighten luggage but helpful
cleaner came all the way downstairs with them! I would stay at the Park
Inn & Suites on Broadway on my next visit to Vancouver.

If you really want to see just what type of people you shouldn't hire to greet
the public then this is the place for you. With all of the unemployment today,
you would think that you could find someone who's more suitable to greet the
public. As I read through other reviews of the hotel, this was a common
complaint regarding the hotel. I can only think that the manager must have hired
his relatives to fill these positions as they seem so horribly ill suited for
such work.

Small hotel, no frills. "Balcony" has enough room for one person and faces an
alley. Probably would not stay there again unless in a crunch. Very basic Staff
friendly. |
