Reviews of the Marriott Vancouver Pinnacle Hotel
The high-rise Pinnacle is between the West End and Coal Harbour, close to
Stanley Park, the waterfront, and the cruise-ship terminal. The rooms are
designed to maximize the light and the views. The rooms in general are fitted up
with all the things business travelers expect, the decor is clean and simple.
Bathrooms are fairly large and well designed with a tub and separate shower. The
location is great and within easy walking distance to shopping, the Vancouver
Convention Centre, Gastown and the Sky Train.

The view from our room was spectacular, overlooking the bay and mountains.
Everything was perfect. The concierge extremely helpful with reservations. Good
location, near Skytrain and bus terminals. Excellent bartending in hotel bar -
give it a try!

Typical downtown/center city Marriott with no disappointments. Only 5 minute
walk from SkyTrain Station direct to the combined AMTRAK/BUS Station, & soon go
to the Airport (thanks to the 2010 Olympics). Recently remodelled. Great
location.

We stayed at the Marriott Pinnacle , the night before our Alaska cruise.
It was a wonderful experience. The customer service from every single employee
was outstanding. This was the best experience we have ever had at any hotel.
We had a corner room that looked out over the pier. The bed was very comfortable
and the bedding luxurious. Although not a huge room, it was fine for the two of
us; It certainly was larger than our stateroom on the ship. There were very nice
toiletries including Neutrogena facial cleanser and moisturizer.

I took my girlfriend to the Marriott to propose to her. So I had emailed them
earlier to ask for a nice ocean view room, and anything extra for the special
weekend would be appreciated. Before the stay, I emailed the concierge several
times to get advise on restaurants and cruises to book. He was very helpful.
I booked a package with buffet breakfast and valet parking included ($299).
When we got there, they had upgraded us to an ocean view room. The front desk,
the concierge, customer service, valet parking and especially the waiter at
their restaurant during breakfast were very, very courteous and helpful.
My girlfriend and I were overjoyed with our stay and made the weekend extra
special.
After we got home, they even sent us a postcard thanking us for staying there.
This extra touch just raised our opinion of them.

My husband and I recently stayed at the Pinnacle and we have nothing but great
things to say about our time there. We were fortunate enough to be on the top
floor and the view was spectacular. The staff was very attentive and thoughtful,
from the doormen to the concierge and front desk to the cleaning staff, and they
do a great job with the little touches that make a big difference. The room was very comfortably appointed and clean. We were
also glad to find that the Hotel Location was very convenient (we were able to walk or
catch a bus just about everywhere we wanted to go). I would gladly stay at this
hotel again.

We stayed at this hotel prior to leaving from Vancouver on a cruise to Alaska.
When I made the reservation I mentioned that we were starting our honeymoon. Our
room had a great view of the Bay. Before we were in the room too long, they sent
us a good bottle of wine and some chocolate covered strawberries. We were very
pleased with everything about our stay at this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights as part of a Rockies/cruise package. The
bedrooms were amazing, huge bed, so comfortable, we were on the 30th floor and
could see the waterfront and Stanley Park. The staff were so helpful and
efficient and friendly. We ate breakfast at the hotel and found it quite keenly
priced for a hotel of this type, a Canadian Breakfast which is like our full
English was 15 dollars, a wonderful Granola Parfait (granola layered with
yoghurt and fresh strawberries) was 7 dollars.
Vancouver is a great city, everyone so nice, don't think Canadians know how to be
rude! |
