July 10, 2011 We found the staff amiable and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the bed comfortable. The hotel is a few decades old, built in an era when hotels were built as modern tall buildings but decorated to look like classical lodges. It is tasteful. I don't think it is fair to charge for wireless interest, as they do. Sutton Place Hotel Vancouver Guest Review July 8, 2011 From the front desk staff at check-in... to the bus boy... to the restaurant staff... to the staff who processed our check-out, they were all wonderful. The room was luxurious. If you like beds with some give - then this is the place for you. Our room was on the 17th floor (a corner room) so the views were fantastic. The hotel location is ideal (corner of Robson and Burrard). Walk 15 minutes in any direction and you'll be amazed at all the places to shop, to eat, to visit or to just take in the sights. The only way the experience could have been better is if we could have stayed longer. Everything was satisfactory and beyond my expectation. Our room was great and fully made every single day. Great restaurant and breakfast buffet. It has all the amenities you would expect from a class hotel plus the staff are awesome. Whether you stay for only a night or several nights, everything you need is here. Theaters, restaurants and shops are only steps away as well as a full service grocery store on the corner and a well stocked cold wine and beer store. Convenient to all of downtown with all the perks, I would highly recommend this hotel to business and holiday travelers alike. |
