Across from Robson Square, Wedgewood is perfectly situated in the heart
of Vancouver to enjoy it’s metropolitan delights. An easy walk from the
new Canada Line Vancouver City Centre station, the Wedgewood is a
perfect oasis in the lively downtown. The service is excellent, staff
friendly and the cookies after 4pm are a homey touch. The bed was
extremely comfortable, the complimentary high-speed Internet was a
welcome change from other fee charging hotels and the pace of the hotel
made you feel as if you were the only guest staying there. Lovely
boutique hotel

We don't often get to stay in a hotel, and we are picky about where we
stay, because of chemical allergies--but we got a good deal at the
Wedgewood, and it was great. I love that they have hypoallergenic sheets
and bedding. At some hotels you can smell the bleach in the towels, but
not here thankfully. Everything about the hotel is well kept and it has
a very boutique character, and it was nice to have the soaker tub
outside of the bathroom. And of course the spa, restaurant and location
also made the stay better. We've stayed twice in the past couple years,
and definitely want to go again.

Our stay was wonderful. We arrived late at night and the staff was still
friendly. The Wedgewood has an older feel with the decor, however, it is
very tasteful and comfortable. The restaurant, Bacchus, is very good
(Try the Limonata, very good!) and the service is excellent. The rooms
are nice, we had a one-bedroom suite and it was very nice. A little
smaller than in the pictures, but great nonetheless. The only detraction
was the touted balonies, which we would have used, had we had a better
view then a back alley and a wall. All in all, a very special hotel with
affordable rooms and great service.
Great restaurant
One of, if not the best location
Rooms are very nice
Good workout facilities

This is a beautiful hotel. The doorman/ valet was friendly, no so of the
front desk clerk. I found him to be rather rude. We were given a room
next to the elevator with a view of the alley. My husband went to the
spa and I went to the lounge, again found the waiter quite rude, not so
of the staff in the dining room one of the best dining experiences we
have ever had! The food was great the staff exceptional. We will visit
the dining room next time we are in Vancouver, but will not stay at this
hotel.

Overlooks Robson Park, close to museum and shopping, so location was
perfect for us. We felt very much like special guests too. We were there
5 days, and every time we entered the hotel we were greeted by name.
Wonderful dining recommendations each time. Loved the location and the
staff was better than our fulltime people here in Dallas. Will
definitely go back!

This luxury, 83-room boutique hotel and spa, a member of the exclusive
Relais & Chateau group, features a European-influenced interior filled
with tasteful antiques and oil paintings. Its French restaurant,
Bacchus, serves wines from the region and a piano bar. The property is
superbly situation downtown within walking distance to several top
sights such as the Vancouver Art Gallery and Robinson Street.

This hotel would have to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The
location was very central to the city, the room was very large with a nice big
spa bath, the bed would have to be one of the more comfortable beds we've slept
in. There was not one staff member that did not go our of their way to welcome,
make us feel at home, answer all of our questions whilst making suggestions
also. This truly is a real "gem" of a hotel & it really enhanced our first
impressions of Vancouver / Canada. Would highly recommend this hotel.

I was thrilled upon entering the gorgeous Wedgewood Hotel and Spa. I trust the
Relais & Chateux brand, and it lived up to its luxurious standard. The room was
large and included a terrace the length of the apartment-like suite. Comfortable
amenities abounded, including full living room furniture, DVD players for the
flat-screen televisions, large marble bathrooms, and delightful turndown service
complete with cookies and spring water. Bacchus lounge and restaurant in the
hotel's lobby was a fabulous place to enjoy a martini next to a roaring fire.
Service was impeccable, and the location ideal. I'd absolutely go back to the
Wedgewood. |
