Don't get me wrong....they were super with our 4 year old. It is just there is
no pool, and no parks or activities in walking distance. We had to drive
everywhere. Which is OK. The Greater Vancouver Zoo is about 1/2 hour away. And
we found farms with goats to pet, etc. The hotel itself is great. Staff are
really friendly and helpful. The food is pretty good at the hotel restaurant.
Service was a bit slow, but they were really nice and accommodating for our 4
year old. If you are a gambler, the casino is joined to the hotel. I can't
comment on the casino - we don't gamble. My husband was there for a conference,
and they were treated excellent. The banquet was for over 500 guests and it went
off without a hitch. And the food was great (for that size of a group).

There is shopping in walking distance in Downtown Langley, small independent
stores. The Willowbrook mall is a drive away. It has all the typical mall types
of stores. Overall an excellent hotel if you are there for a conference. The
rooms are clean and quiet. We were on the same floor as the conference, and i
was a little worried at first, but i slept like a log both nights. If you have
kids, expect to do some driving, but there are lots of things to do.

My husband and I stayed here on the May long weekend to attend a wedding. We
paid $129 plus tax. The room was on the small side but adequate.
PROS: The bed was extremely comfortable and I have a very bad back and neck and
had no problem with the bed. The bathroom which was a good size was very clean
and had a coffee maker and hair dryer. We asked for early check-in to get
dressed for the wedding and were accommodated. We ate at the Cafe off the lobby
for breakfast and brunch. We had the buffet which was only $7.99 and was good
value for the money. Some of the food was really good and the rest was OK.

They did not honour their breakfast special of $4.99 even though it was Monday
because it was a holiday but that wasn't posted on the sign in the hotel or on
the internet anywhere. The service was lacking. If you wanted more coffee you
had to chase the waitress down ( after the first drink, you never saw her
again). The actual room (510) was dirty with stains and a big bleached out spot
on the carpet by the desk and stains on the ottoman by the old tube TV. The
numbers on the remote control of the old tube TV were all worn off except the
number 5, but it did work. They have the TV volume set way too loud on initial
start up. We tried to turn it down but it defaulted to "very loud" which at 11PM
at night isn't very considerate. The bathroom counters are really low (about
28-30") and the sink is very shallow. Our sink plug was broken and could not be
opened wider or closed and therefore filled up with water all the time when
trying to rinse your face. They had an extra outlet in the bathroom which was so
loose that my flat iron cord pulled right out (the cord is 9' long so there was
no pressure on the cord at the time). The worst part was the NOISY TOILETS! Four
of my family members came back to our room to freshen up and they all could not
believe how noisy the toilets were. My mother said she felt like she was on an
airplane using the pressurized, noisy airplane toilets. Needless to say, when
your neighbors above or next to you use their toilet at 4AM, you know about it.
I found the vehicle traffic outside to be very noisy and it went on pretty much
most of the night. I put my specially molded earplugs in and could still hear
the louder trucks every 2-3 minutes or so. Even with the comfy bed, I found it
very difficult to sleep. My husband had no problem but he never does so if you
are a light sleeper you will have a hard time.
