This hotel is in a great location. Lots of shops and restaurants within walking
distance which I greatly appreciated because I rode with a friend from Seattle
and didn't have a car. I could easily walk to two coffee shops in the morning.
This hotel is also very close to the historic Fort Langley and the town of Fort
Langley. I was in town for a cat show, so I did not get a chance to visit. It
looked like a really interesting place to visit and am hoping too in August when
I come back for another cat show. We are also planning on staying in this hotel
again when we come back in August. The beds are supper comfortable and very high
which I like. There are recycling bins in the room, so I have to give them bonus
points for trying to encourage recycling. Only one little complaint. My room was
right next to the front entrance. There were a few buses that unloaded pretty
early in the morning. The noise of the people unloading woke me up but I am
pretty heavy sleeper so went right back to sleep. This might be an issue for
folks who are noise sensitive.Hotel Review of the Sandman Hotel Langley

I do not rate this hotel as favorably as other customers. Given the overall wear
of the hotel and amenities it is over priced. On check out another customer was
complaining about a very uncomfortable bed in his room. We did not find our bed
all that comfortable either. For the price there should have been vouchers for
breakfast or a continental breakfast offered. The bathroom/sink and vanity are
within the bathroom which is an inconvenience trying to get one member of the
party in for a shower while the other is drying hair, etc. The towels and linens
have seen their share of wear. No pool. Vouchers for the near by recreation
center are offered; my understanding was only two per day per room. This hotel
however is in walking distance of the Langley Sportsplex and about a ten minute
drive from the Twin Rinks for those who travel to Langley for youth hockey.

The hotel is nestled between Denny's and the Shark Club. 2 blocks from a large
grocery store, drug store, Tim Horton's and Star bucks etc. Parking is good and
also maintained. The lobby is very nice and well maintained. Staff at the front
desk is very pleasant and very professional. The rooms are good and very clean
to come into after a long drive. The hotel has very easy access to the freeway.
I said it before and I`ll say it again. It`s still the only place to stay in
while in Langley.

Had no problems
I was really impressed with the customer service at the front desk. I really had
no problems at all, the AC worked, my room was clean, it didn’t smell of smoke
or anything. If you are staying in this area, I’d recommend this hotel over the
nearby Travelodge.

The sandman in Langley is located near the trans Canada highway though not close
enough for the noise to be an issue, near movie theater and restaurants as well
as having a restaurant and a lounge both in the hotel. The Langley city centre
is 15min away and close to ft Langley and maple ridge. Rooms are decent size and
comfy and good sized bathrooms not cramped at all as some other hotels have.
however rooms do not all have microwaves however they have minifridges.

If you need to stay in the Langley area and will have some free time, I can't
imagine why you'd want to stay anywhere else. This hotel's location is a prime
selling feature.
The property itself is pretty standard to some of the other new Sandman's. It is
not horribly unique by any means, but that doesn't mean it isn't comfortable and
satisfactory. On the contrary - I have great sleeps here. The rooms are typical
- bed, sitting spot, desk, bathroom. There are no lacking amenities in the room,
and even a few additional ones like the fridge that is always in my room.
The hotel is also attached to two restaurants - a 24 hour Dennys and a lounge
called the Shark Club that is a step up from Denny's, but is also still in the
category of Sports Bar. If you are looking for a close bite to eat, their food
is good and presented well. Denny's is the same quality that it is everywhere
else.
