Do not stay here! 1 second after entering the lobby you will regret your
reservation! The place is old, smelly and dirty. There is trash everywhere
outside. The three days we were there, the trash in the ice machine room was all
over the floor with brown stains. The place smells of cigarettes. The shower and
sinks barely drain. The cable is fuzzy. There are train tracks across the street
that run at all hours of the day and night. The breakfast opens late and when it
finally opens, the selection is terrible and so is what little food they offer.
There is also a woman that walks around the parking lot all day. She
occasionally checks in with a car in the back of the parking lot with two men in
it. They sit out there for hours/daily. There was a 5 hours party in the
upstairs hallway with 20+ drunk, screaming people. Management did nothing about
it. This motel should be shut down!Hotel Reviews Super 8 Langley Glover Road

We were happy with our stay at the Super 8 in Langley/Glover Road. The room was
clean, beds comfortable and the shower was one on the best. The location is good
to visit old Fort Langley with all of their quaint shops and good restaurants.
The continental breakfast is a little sparse, but ok and they do offer free
computer access in the lobby and wi-fi in the rooms.

I'll be honest, I booked this hotel because I wanted a low cost hotel room
somewhere in-between Vancouver and Chilliwack. This Super 8 fit the bill and
therefore I wasn't expecting much else. However, I must say that while I have
stayed in nicer hotels, this one did just fine on it's own. It was clean,
everything was in working order, the staff were friendly enough and my overall
feeling was that I'd stay there again. If you're looking for 3 stars and up,
find somewhere else to stay. But if you're looking for a good hotel at an
excellent price, then this is for you.

The beds, the pillows, the shower, the breakfast & the staff!
Good price, but terrible location adjacent to a busy intersection and train
tracks with the trains blowing their whistles several times during the night as
they approached the intersection.

Although we were exhausted and would have stayed almost anywhere, the absence of
an assigned room, the condition of the first room (had not been cleaned at all -
beds not made etc.) and the cleanliness and noise in the second room we were
shown (there was virtually no one in the motel and we were placed next to the
mechanical room which had its door propped open. We had specified a quiet room
and we had indicated a late arrival but no room was set aside for us. The
parking lot was poorly lit and we did not feel secure so we refused to stay and
sought accommodation elsewhere..

Everything everyone else said is true, especially about the trains, however a
couple of additional items to add: 1) the bathroom is a closet so there is
really no where to change, and there is no tub in the room we had 2) the smoking
rooms could be smelled 3) the stains on the carpet made me shiver, and 4) truly,
I felt a little unsafe and I think I would have cringed if I had a black light
to see the "unseen" stains. Oh, and the "sauna" is a 2 person white shower
stall.

Super 8's can be quite variable in quality, so I was encouraged to see how clean
the building and parking lot was when we drove up. The room was in great shape,
the wi-fi connection excellent and I thought I'd made THE best lodging choice of
the trip. At least up until the 1st train roared by, honking its warning signal
for the intersection just about 100 ft from the motel. So be warned, stay at
Super 8 but bring your ear plugs to get a good night's sleep.

First let me say this hotel is in a nice country setting ,away from all the
hustle of Vancouver proper. But within 40 min. drive to all that Vancouver has
to offer. Very clean and a very nice complimentary breakfast. At check in the
front desk staff were very welcoming and hospitable. A very warm inviting hotel.
Close to shopping in Langley close to major highways. Overall I would HIGHLY
recommend this hotel to anyone. Our stay was for 1 week and from start to finish
we felt at home. Thanks Super 8 Langley City for a great vacation.
