Primo location. Right down the road from the Capilano suspension bridge and the
bottom of the Grouse Mountain gondola ride, plus literally right across the
Lion's Gate Bridge Stanley park and downtown, plus many reasonable restaurants
nearby. Also, one other thing I would say is that I have stayed in
Downtown Vancouver, which
is cool but the problem is that it's a huge hassle to get in your car to go
anywhere, and many of the things are just a little too far to walk to.
Super-clean and amazing price, plus it includes breakfast. Staff was
super-helpful - they said yes to the rollaway, brought extra blankets, really
pleasant and helpful, etc. you get the picture. I stayed at another place last
time I came, and they wouldn't let me have a rollaway in the same size room,
plus there was no breakfast at the other place.

The beds and pillows were very very comfortable and we had a wonderful sleep.
The location is great for shopping and very close to Lion's Gate bridge where
there are many attractions, but provides all the quietness without being
downtown Vancouver. Would recommend highly and will stay here again. We also had
a kitchen with this unit.

We have stayed at this Hotel previously, and we have never been disappointed.
This time we had a stay of 10 days, and we consistently received courteous and
prompt service throughout this time. The room was large, clean, with a very
comfortable bed and a handy little kitchenette. We particularly appreciated that
it was quiet, and we were not disturbed at any time.- The location of this
property is great; 5 minutes to get across the Lions Gate Bridge and into
downtown. On the other hand, if you want to visit the mountains in North
Vancouver or drive to Whistler, you are close to the highway and major roads.
The free parking at the Hotel makes it all very convenient.
Overall a very pleasant experience, and the friendliness of the staff made this
Hotel feel like a home away from home

So if you have a car and are traveling around Vancouver, BC and looking for a
hotel, every downtown hotel charges fees that really add up for parking. I made
that mistake once and was happy to find a hotel with plenty of free parking! It
was only a nice drive away, through Stanley Park, to get to downtown. This hotel
is easy to find, ask to be away from the road if noise is an issue, but traffic
died down in the evening so it was fine.
The hotel rooms may be a bit old (some old wallpaper), but at least there were
granite counter tops in the bathrooms- and everything was very clean.
The service was great, Helen was very accommodating and helpful!
Breakfast was the usual toast, english muffins, cereal, fruit, hard-boiled eggs
- not extravagant, but enough to get you going in the morning.
I would stay here again because there aren't as many taxes and fees as the
hotels charge in downtown. Overall a good stay! |
